literally ordered $80 worth of food to go. It was the double shrimp boil and a Saut T. Picked up the order and get back to where we're going to eat it and not 1 oz of butter. No way was I driving all the way back up to the restaurant to get butter. Besides everything would have been cold by the time I got back. I called the restaurant to let them know and you would think if a restaurant left one of the most vital ingredients for shrimp and crab legs out that they would offer some kind of compensation. Nope, all I got was a half-hearted apology. So, I had two options either go to the store and get some butter while my food proceeded to get cold..... because we all know that warmed up shrimp and crab legs are wonderful/sarcasm. Or keep my shrimp and crab legs without butter just to keep from wasting an $80 meal. Very disappointed.
Great food and customer service
One of the best Birthday dinners I have had! The food and service were stellar, everything we ordered was reasonably priced, my only small complaint would be the lack of meat in the crab legs! We will definitely be back to try more items off of the menu.
We love coming here for dinner! The food is delicious and exactly what you would want for a dive oyster bar. It's a little on the small side but the flavors are never lacking and totally worth the wait for a table or a seat at the bar!
Absolutely love this place!!! Too many favorites to list. Raw oysters on half shell & chargrilled oysters, low country boil, shrimp& grits, shrimp gumbo. We try something new every time. Never disappointed in quality of food or service.

First day of the New Year and wanted to try somewhere we've never been. They did not disappoint. We loved the atmosphere. Very pleasant staff from the time we walked in, to the time we left. Felt like I was a regular. Jennifer took good care of us. I had crab ball starters that were so good. My main meal, a shrimp & oyster combo was just right too. Even took home keylime pie for dessert that hit the spot. The manager Christy came over to talk to us which gave me a chance to rave about what she has done, the staff and food. We will definitely be back!
We have visited here pre-covid and have loved the food. We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the wait staff did not communicate with each other about what was going on. We had called ahead about a reservation since it gets packed and were told they don't make reservations. When we walked in and were seated with drink orders placed, we were told to get up and wait for another table to open up since there was a reservation for the table (they apparently knew the bartender and I guess that made it okay to have a reservation when we were told over the phone they don't take reservations). At that point, we had already been waiting nearly 2 hours, but were told originally it would be about 15 minutes til we were seated and were continuously told it would be about 15 minutes. We will never be returning due to horrible service from the rude wait staff.
5 stars! Best Seafood in Rowan County!! And hands down best beer and drink spot!! Love the friendly and fun atmosphere!!! Excellent customer service from the staff and the ownership is the best in the country. Farm to table burgers are a hidden gem. You will enjoy everything on the menu. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits and cod sandwich (see pictures). Love the kitchen staff as well and want to give them a shout-out for being dedicated to quality food preparation and service. Live music on the weekends is always a fun time and the family-like atmosphere is electric. Come out and enjoy! It will be your new favorite spot in town. Highly recommend because you won't be disappointed!
