They must have changed chefs. The food was not that good. For the atmosphere they're portraying, the food was nominal.
Quaint small town Italy type Restaurant / feel.We thought the food was good. I had Spaghetti & Meatballs, salad, dessert, wine. A safe dish when visiting new places.Overall, a good experience. (Not great or negative.)We would visit again.Thank you ?
If you are going for anything other than the bread and house made avocado ranch pick somewhere else. Chicken fettuccine was good, the chicken was tender and sauce was creamy but had to dig out two full chunks of garlic. Glad I found them before eating them. The stuffed salmon was super fishy and just tasted off. The spaghetti with meatballs tasted like noodles tossed in canned plain tomato sauce and the meatballs were grisly and tasted frozen. The steak was tough and chewy. Our whole party of 5 were disappointed for the price of this “fine dining Italian restaurant”.
We sat in a booth, and the service was quick. The food was fantastic. I would like to go back again!
I decided to surprise my wife for her birthday by going to Goodfellas by Chef Santos. This was my first trip there after years of having my family hype up the restaurant.The business was busy, so we were patient even though the wait staff didn't seem to want anything to do with or for our party. After waiting for almost 2 hours, I lost my cool and demanded an update. We were informed something had happened in the kitchen, they "just forgot to tell us". Our order hadn't even began the process of being prepared.The positive is that I was told about the incident in enough time to get my family to a restaurant that actually wanted our business without having to settle for a fast food drive thru. Birthday festivities saved.For what it's worth, it is nearly impossible to undo a bad first impression. I left there apologetic to my family and furious with the staff.Definitely NOT a "plus ten do recommend" experience.
I cannot give a review of the food because we never received any. My husband made a 6:30 reservation for my birthday 4/2/22. We were seated and had to ask for a server after about 15 minutes. She took our drink and food order at the same time and, other than delivering salads, we never saw her again. At 8:10, we finally flagged someone down to ask what was happening. Apparently, the kitchen had lost the ticket. We are very understanding about mistakes but the server should have realized this much sooner. We ended up leaving without dinner at 8:15.
This is a small but elegant restaurant yet everyone was in casual attire. The waiters are very friendly and really hustle. The food was incredibly delicious, with an Italian flare. The stuffed salmon served with fresh vegetables and pasta was the best I have ever had!
