So glad we chose this restaurant. Even tho they were short staff they were not short on the best customer service I've EVER had. Mr. Thomas introduced himself and apologized that we may have to wait a few minutes to order and possibly in getting the food out to us. Ms KK is the bomb. She quickly took our order while being bartender for other customers and didn't miss a beat in taking care of other customers as they were seated. They get 10 stars
I try to never leave negative reviews, but this one was deserving. First of all, my waitress Dawn was Great in service and attitude. Kitchen messed up my food so it was a bit soggy, but plated well. First time taking my mom to this restaurant so was pretty disappointed after I had bragged their food is so good. They do offer veteran discounts at this location. After I ate what food I could, I went to the bathroom and there was a maggot on the floor. I would NOT have ate here if I would have seen it before. Pure disgusting.
In town looking for some amazing southern food? You have to stop in here! I ordered the fried pickle chips, the southern surf and turf, and blackberry and peach cobbler for dessert. Now, I've had a lot of catfish and chicken tenders un my time, but few (if any) have come close to these! Everything was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The bread was wonderful, and the cobbler? To die for!! Dawn and Thomas were so friendly and attentive! I will definitely be coming back with family!!!
Very poor quality food on 4.28. 2022. The food was not freshly prepared. The tenders were dry, old, and reheated. The macaroni was bland. The hostess was a little unsanitary. The rolls were good, and when our waitress brought us another basket of rolls, she put a new butter container inside the previously used one. --- I use to love this place and hadn't been there in about two years. This was a special day (my daughter's birthday) so we were anxiously excited - especially for the fried pickles and dessert. The fried pickles were perhaps the only thing fresh on our table that day (including the rolls) but because of the quality of the rest of the food - we passed on dessert. My daughter ordered the tenders (old ) and steak (too tough to cook/chew) with macaroni and asparagus (very tough to cut) and I ordered the Bayou shrimp and tenders. The sauce was cold and still too thick. The shrimp were tough and the tenders were old. The food had clearly been sitting out and perhaps refried or heated. The fries were old as well. --- Maybe we caught them at a bad time. We visited Thursday, 4.28 around 6pm.
I know I seem harsh on these places I review but I call it like I see it. I haven't been here in a long time; I remember once upon a time O'Charley's was the deal! They had awesome food, great service and it was affordable. Things have certainly changed from what I remember. I ordered the chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese (carb heavy, I know). The chicken tenders seemed off, super salty and chewy. The mashed potatoes were bland and the presentation was unappealing. My Mac n' cheese was prepared probably at lunch time and there was a super distinct difference between the macaroni and the cheese, meaning the macaroni looked old and the liquid cheese was a must have pick me up to pass as fresh. Unfortunately, I had a few bites of the potatoes, a few bites of the Mac and cheese and struggled with the tenders. I was definitely disappointed in the meal and price when all said and done. When asked, it was a hard "No" on takeout boxes.Listen, I'm not expecting a five start meal or even four star at that. What I am expecting is good food, good service and a fair price. I tipped the waitress because, while the service wasn't great, she was the only waitress in the joint and I appreciate her hustle. My opinion is this, I would keep on going and find something else, but hey, try it for yourself, I could be having an off night or they could. My experience was bad enough that I wrote this long-winded review and will not be returning anytime soon. I wish them well and I know they can do better!
Had a great meal n great service. Love the yeast rolls. The Spinach n Artichoke dip is the bomb. The top sirloin is always awesome. This is the 6oz. The Salmon was on plank grilled to perfection with asparagus n steakhouse mashed potatoes. Mmmm
Our experience was okay. It could have been better. The service was good. Our server was friendly and helpful. Our appetizers were great but the main course was not good. Our ribs were too tough to eat. The seafood platter was okay. Our favorite was the blackberry margaritas which were perfect. This used to be o e of my favorite spots, however, this is the second time since the pandemic I was disappointed by my food.
We were settled promptly and our waitress was pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. The manager was very pleasant as well when he came out and greeted us and made sure we were being taken care of properly. The food was excellent as well. We had a very good experience there and will return!!!
I give this O’Charley’s 5 stars. We were quickly seated and our Server Tracy was wonderful from start to finish. Our food was hot from the bread to the very last French fry! The GM Thomas checked on the table and was making sure the restaurant was in great shape during the entire visit. We wanted to leave a review because we know how things are with Covid and service and short staff. You will not be disappointed!!!
New menu food is fantastic. Bacon Jam Burger and Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich is our go to every time. Can’t be beat. Tracy is a wonderful waitress and always provides us with the best service.
