Just got a Cheerwine frappe at the Cheerwine festival and it’s amazing! The staff were so friendly and the space was so cute!
My wife, son, and I stopped in during the Cheerwine Festival and LOVED everything about the place!Great coffee, great service and great hang out spot. Owner is very kind and talked with us about the business and the fact that her and her husband grow their own coffee in Guatemala.
Ok probably best coffee I’ve had in a LONG time. Food was amazing too! Very impressed. My fiancé and I were just passing through on our way to Charlotte & saw Mean Mug.. so glad we did! Will definitely be back.
I guess my original review was deleted. Not friendly owners/staff, at least not to people shopping/delivering their HUGE aldi orders. That leads me to second issue… they’re using aldi groceries to make the products they sell to you. Aldi is fine but are mean mug prices reflecting this????
Great atmosphere.. good coffee.. but Jesus... This place is slowwwwwwww!!!!! Its Sunday at noon.. not busy.. I have been waiting 25 mins so far along with others. Their is one lady working in front and another person in back. She is taking her time for sure. I only came here because my favorite coffee places are closed Sundays. Which is The Morning Glory in Rockwell and Koco Java in Salisbury. Both super fast and delicious!I guess I will stick with Starbucks on Sundays. Too bad because I prefer to support small business. Still waiting.. it's been 35 mins now. Hopefully it will get better. Then maybe I'll come back.Edit- I Finally got my one drink. Took 48 mins. Like seriously.

I went to the new location at Carolina place mall. I used to work at the mall and would always go to Starbucks so as I was passing I noticed Starbucks wasn’t there so o decided to try mean mug! I’m so glad I did! The coffee was amazing and the girls there were wonderful! They were telling me how people would get upset that it wasn’t Starbucks. The coffee is better than SBux and I wish there was a location closer to me!
Very friendly and cute place. A little cramped and space is somewhat well used. The coffee was pretty good and the food options sounded great. I would definitely visit again.
Friendly staff and great coffee! I tried the Cheerwine Latte (because you kinda have to, right?) and it was delicious!
I love Mean Mug! I get their Mean Green sandwich and Croissant breakfast sandwich, staff is so friendly and they make some awesome drinks too. Highly recommend!
