We stopped in while traveling. They were out of fruit and veggies. My son asked for a grilled cheese and they sent out 2 pieces of toast with unmelted cheese. We ordered fries and onion rings. Fries were great! Onion rings were burnt and looked awful. Definitely disappointed. I will say that our waitress was very nice and did a great job under the circumstances.
Stay away from this place. My family and I have been a customer of this IHOP for 18+ years.Lately, this place has the worse customer service. The last few visits have been very unpleasant, but this last was a complete nightmare, the wait is terrible. This last time we waited 1 1/2hrs before we finally got up tried to pay for the drinks and left.The manager just said, “don’t worry about it, have a good day” not an apology or explanation as to why they made us wait for nothing.The staff that is there now is incompetent.
Good food and good service. It took awhile to be seated but once we sat everything moved fast. Our waitress was really nice and sweet to my kids. All in all good experience.
This is a poor example of a restaurant. Only 3 people working and they were turning people away while we were there. The place is not clean. Waitress seemed to be preoccupied. Even though there was only 1 other table with people. Our food took forever. I asked for orange juice and never got it. She did bring a coffee that I didn't ask for.We will not return and have told others about the experience.
Staff was great. The food was on point. It was a little wait bit it's understandable they are short on staff. Keep up the good work.
With the crappy service we got today my 33$ meal should of been free. Took over an hour wasn't even busy and than my pancakes came cold so they took them back and once again cold. 3 people just standing around talking for 30 min yet want to say they are short handed is why my meal took forever and was cold. And I wasn't the only one who complained today multiple people did. For the small portions, crappy service, cold food definitely wasn't worth even 10$. IHOP Salisbury NC won't go back
It's been quite a few years since I went to IHOP, but this one is definitely worth going to more then that! The wait staff was friendly, after placing our order our waitress, Randi, made sure to check in every few minutes, refilling our sweet tea before it was even gone! The food was pretty good, I ordered the Pablano omelet because I like spicy things and I was NOT disappointed! While this is much lower then the level of heat I like, the flavors were well balanced and worked well with each other! Definitely will go again!
If I could rate this restaurant a 0 I would. This place shouldn’t be open, should be shut down immediately. The managers especially the short one with the long hair is incompetent. I can hear the kitchen arguing with the waitresses. The hostess doesn’t know what they’re doing. I ordered a big steak omelette with hash browns my steak was undercooked and the eggs didn’t taste real. Hash browns were burnt to a crisp and it took 30 minutes to get some fresh. This place shouldn’t be in business and if you read this save your time and go to breakfast time. Everything was bad down to the very moment I walked in and I didn’t recieve a discount or anything for their mistakes. Everyone here needs to be trained again. Was not a good visit.
Inconsistent but understandable... they have a serious staffing shortage, one day food is great, next day they have no ingredients to complete dishes. Seems like the location is so deep in the cut ,hard to notice it's even back there
This place unfortunately has really gone down since covid. They had to close but every opened. Unfortunately I've been in several times and have waited more than 5 minutes to be recognized and seated when no one else was in line. And have walked out several times. The service is adequate but can be slow as they seem to not have enough servers. It may be because people are too lazy to come into work like everywhere else and they may be understaffed.
