If you are going to have Bar-B-Que in your name, then by all means serve Bar-B-Que. I ordered the half chicken plate and the pulled pork plate. Both were oven baked and drizzled with a little watered down Sweet Baby Rays. Both were dry and very disappointing. I was visiting from Georgia and was craving some good NC style Barbecue. What a waste. This place didn’t hit on Eastern or Lexington style, of which either would have been satisfying. Portions were hefty but the white slaw could definitely use some love. This place has all the potential of being a real gem for the area but if they continue to sell oven baked meats as barbecue they should call themselves a diner.
I have been eating at Hendrix Barbecue for year's and I normally love eating there UNTIL today... For one they came around to us ONCE for refills and that was before we got our food... They couldn't read our ticket either cause on the ticket said RS on my hamburger (which means red slaw) well it was white slaw then hubby had to get someone's attention so they could take it back and fix it... Well when they brought it back out it was LOADED down with red slaw that's pretty much all I could taste... The lady that brought it back out told me to check if it was right this time but before I could open the wrapper she was gone... I think that she knew what they did that's why she ran away... I would understand if they was super busy BUT they wasn't!!! Remind you that I never got a refill on my drink... Our waitress was to busy talking to her buddies... I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!! THAT PLACE IS GOING DOWN HILL QUICK!!! I drive from Mocksville to eat there.... Won't make that mistake again!!!
Excellent food, friendly people ... We always try to stop there whenever we are in Salisbury. Highly recommend!!! Fifties style restaurant, love this place ❤️

Best barbeque in Salisbury. Always get courteous and quick service. Great hot fries. Daily specials are also always hearty.
Come with a appetite! This place has the best grits hands down and two eggs look more like 4 eggs on your plate! ❤?
Waited over and hour for my daughter to get her corn dog meal. Then it was cold and the manager wanted to act like she didn’t care. Sorry excuses they used. Never again will they ever get another dollar.

Its okay. Not a lot of options and the ones they do have are on the mediocre side. Breakfast is good though.
Breakfast portions are great lunch and dinner not good: customer service is awful. I do not recommend Salisbury has a lot of restaurants to choose from.
