The entire experience was highly disappointing once again...this visit made the third, and was the worst of all three. Sadly ? all three of those visits were highly unacceptable and shockingly disappointing.The cashier is very unkind and disrespectful, very uninformed of how to perform a role in customer service or just does not care. The first time I visited it was a female at the walk up window who refused to take my order or furthermore, even inform me that she was not going to, however, knowingly thought it was OK to take a gentleman who drove up in a big rig's order but would not even answer me, I left before I ended up in a situation uncalled for and not even worth it, I could not believe it! That time, I left in shock, just amazed at the behavior and unclear of why I was disrespected and ignored.The second visit was on my birthday on May 14th, 2022, and was the only place I went that day to treat myself *(wishful thinking). Somehow, my two hot dog tray went from 5.69 to a whopping $11.+ And change and the cashier was not trying to correct or explain how. The food was good and very well plated.. However, was not aware that to put a spoon of Chilli and slaw would cost me a dollar extra per hot ? dog , and still don't understand the remaining extra. Unpleasant with my purchase and the associates unwillingness to correct any mistake I was still hungry and again bit the bullet. This last visit was the worst and
Person that came to help eventually did not greet me, I apologized and said, "I'm sorry but I only got two onion rings with my order?" They just looked at me. I responded with, "can you please help me with that?" She let go of the window while I was still talking and stalked away.Other employees inside laughing, and locking eyes with me. (With that behavior I decided to ask for a refund when the service person came back. It didn't feel right to eat there anymore)When the person came back, I requested a refund. They made a show of walking halfway away from the trash can and tossed it in. And said, "I don't have time for this mess today,"All because I asked for a refund.So I requested to speak to a manager and they responded with that they are a manager and that the General manager was right there too. So I asked to speak to the general manager. Well, it turns out the person that I locked eyes with, that walked away yelling service was closed while laughing, was the General manager. When I told him what happened he said "I was making too much of a deal, and I shouldn't have assumed they were laughing at me." How else was I supposed to see it? And I asked for a refund because I've seen the stories of what people do to customer food when they don't like the customer. He again said u shouldn't have assumed and they gave me my food what else did I expect?Said I, "made too big of a deal," and that they were done talking to me and slammed the service window door again.Needless to say, according to this restaurant asking to be treated a little better and to be a nicer human was too much. They had to give me all the attitude, and rudeness. I worked in service industry. I know how tough it can be and how people can be unappreciated. I thought I asked kindly. But I was definitely NOT treated kindly or anything. My first time going to this cookout and my last.Tdlr: original order only gave me 2 onion rings so I asked for help with that and got an extremely rude response. The way they acted and the things they said were extremely unprofessional, and unfriendly. I will never go to this location again.Visited this location, in salsibruy nc off of innes street on June 2, at about 11:00pm.
Worst food ever. Burgers were smashed burnt tasting and sloppy. Also got a chicken bacon wrap that had no sauce on it..... When you spend $15 you expect to get good food. That's not the case here. Not sure if people have no pride in their jobs or just don't care. We will not be coming back. I've had issues here before but nothing this bad and nasty. The corn dog was the best thing I got. Oh and the tea. If it was possible I would have given no stars. I have worked in customer service for many years and this is by far the worst I've experienced. Needs a lot of improvement all around.
I rarely eat here unless I want a milkshake, either way, I went this past week and they only had a chopped BBQ plate with french fries no Hush Puppies no rolls no chicken or hamburger or anything just those two items. ...which were skimped on with no choice of a substitution don't let me forget there was no sauce for the barbecue and no coleslaw or barbecue white or red it was a bad experience seriously we waited so long for food that should have already be ready or no more than 3 minutes waiting on the french fries. Cookout sucked that night.
This was my first experience with a Cook Out restaurant. I loved it! I thought it was great and I thought the value for what you got was awesome. I could have easily spent more at a mainstreamed fast food restaurant. The quality was more than what I paid for. I will definitely go back to this style of restaurant again.
I never write reviews, but this cook out killed it!!My food was fresh, hot and perfect.Even my fiance who doesn't like cook out gave it a 10/10. Service was quick, precise, and polite. Everyone here deserves a raise.Best cook out I've ever been to.
The food is great! The people are friendly. But there is only one in Rowan county and I don’t go Bc I don’t have time to sit at a fast food restaurant. Please build another 1 in Salibury and one in Rockwell. Thank uou
We went in drive-thru around 730-8pm. Ordered 5 milkshakes. The lady on the speaker kept asking me to wait, then kept asking me to repeat the order, and then come to find out..they didn't even get all the flavors correct.
My husband and I came last night because I had a late night craving. We waited almost a hour in line before even ordering. Once we order the lady was extremely rude but we didn’t pay it much attention after waiting for a hour we just wanted our food and to be able to go home. Our total bill was over $30 and absolutely nothing was correct on our order. I tried my best to tell the cashier working the window,but she closed it and didn’t even turn back around. I’ve called numerous of times…. No answer. She didn’t even give us a receipt all I have is the ticket on the bag. I could see if we were unkind or rude but we were! It’s no reason to be that upset then get mad and walk away over wrong items and straws and drinks ??♀️ Do not go to this location
The food's okay but the service is so slow now not only is this service is slow but I'm sitting in drive-thru and see the biggest rat I have ever seen run right by the speaker come on guys y'all need to do better than that
