Great place to eat with friends and family
Well this was the third time I have visited this place in Salisbury. Probably will never go back or recommend it to anyone from now on. We cam in the side entrance as we always have. The place was about 20% full and plenty of staff. Debated on where to sit, at the bar or a table, we got a table. Watched staff come and go to the seated tables around us, cleaning, filling drinks, etc and with not as much as a glance to our empty table with no menus or drinks on it. Servers were having a good time at their duty station, eating and drinking. We had thought about going to the bar but two staff came our way. Did they come greet us? NO, they both came to clean the two adjacent tables who had recently left. As I stared at them while they cleaned off those tables, one finally made eye contact and came over. (10-12 minutes had passed) and asked if we had been waited on. We both said "no" and she offered to go get some menus and we said yes please. She asked if we had been seated or seated ourselves, and we said there was no sign from the side door. She made a disgusted face and through up her hands as she turned away. I quickly got up and we both left. I will not be treated as an inconvenience at any restaurant. Want our money for food, fine. Serve us and we can make that trade. I would never treat any customer that way, ever. Good riddance.
Awesome service, great food!
Our family of 6 went to dine with our son who attends Catawba College. The pub ambiance was delightful and the food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The tuna was cooked to perfection. The mahi tacos, the hamburgers, and the chicken were delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient. We appreciate our memorable dining experience.
I stopped in for a beer and sandwich with my son and wife today 2/11/2022 at lunch we ordered three draft beers that we have ordered before and they did not taste like the beer were are familiar with I went to the bar tender and told her that we got a different beer than we ordered and she said no credit for beer ordered she said you should have asked to sample the beer first i turned around to walk back to my table and she said come back here and repeated no credit on beer I walked back to my table and by then the waitress was back and at my table and I explained that we got a different beer than was ordered and she said she made the mistake and would bring the correct beer she went to the bar and talked to the blond girl bartender and she shot us a very ugly look and poured the new beers when we received the bill the incorrect beers were still charged to me and I asked the waitress about it and said she would have them removed I said just remove mine and I will pay for the rest , on the way out I told the bartender that it seems there is a credit for beer she got very hostile , not what you would expect from a restraurant that valued your business, and on top of that the burger I ordered was very dry
So done with this place, wife ordered Fettuccine Alfredo. The description said had broccoli in it. Took forever for food. My Ribeye sandwich came out ice cold and my wife's came out cold with no broccoli. I ask the girl delivering food to table and she just looked at us. The waiter said I have this and what's the problem, I told him and all he would say is what's the problem and a older manager comes over and says the same. After pressing some he says I will put green beans in it we said no. We asked for chicken and he says I'm not giving you that for free, we said never mind and they bring out half a chicken breast says he will discount it but charges us full price 5.00 and put a 18% tip automatically for two people. This is the second time with problems and attitude
Food was actually quite good. Our waitress was wonderful. Some issues in the back. Food took 1hr and 45min. Was not crowded.

Hidden Gem. We were in town for about an hour today and stumbled across this for lunch and drinks. It was really GOOD! Who takes a red onion, puts it in tempura batter and fries it! Incredible! Burgers were second to none! I hope I am in the area again!
We came in at 6 and went right to the bar for seating. We ordered an appetizer and dinner at 6:10. At 7pm we asked where our dinner was and the bartender said she didn't order till our appetizer was delivered. We were shocked that this happened due to the fact in Virginia its all ordered together. So food comes at 7:20 my burger was overcooked and our sons order was done wrong so we had to wait even longer. They had no steaks no waffles and had run out of 14 of the burgers on the menu. The bartender worked very busily for the entire restaurant but her language was very foul and unacceptable.
