Hamburger was good, fries undercooked. Our waitress brought our food and never came back. Had to ask 3 tines for coffee refill. They were busy but still, maybe they need more than 2 waitresses.

Always good though I'm not a Carolina BBQ fan. I'm from Oklahoma so it different there. Beside the point lol. Service is always great. Tasty and good portion size.
I hadn't been here in a long time and should have sent it back. Service was very slow as there was only 1 waitress doing everything. My stew beef and potatoes was lukewarm at best. The fries with the burger were not fresh. Only Very few customers there in mid afternoon.They do have breakfast all day.
I have lived in Salisbury since 1995 and today was my first visit to Checkered Flag Barbecue. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger which was perfectly done, very juicy and not greasy at all. The tomato was even really good especially for this time of year. The fries were also very good, nicely crisped and not at all greasy with good flavor. The unsweetened tea tasted like tea! I always order unsweetened tea and most places serve nothing more than tea colored water. The food came out very hot and very fast and the service was impeccable. We will be back
I have been many times to checkered flag but NEVER have i had such a lukewarm dried out meal as today. I wish i had gotten the waitresses name. People came and went while we sat waiting. First of all we waited a good 30-40 minutes for our food which looked like it was sitting on the counter for a long time while the waitress took takeout orders and collected payments. I saw someone else saying our food is sitting up there on the counter getting cold. I said when checking out...do you have a new cook? Because the meal was less than satisfactory. She said oh no we just had a lot of takeout orders. Well.it seems to me the customer who is sitting there waiting and waiting for food should have priority. i am so disappointed and then we sat while waiting for our to go order. I think those take out petrified chicken tenders (with no dipping sauce to soften them) will go into the trashcan. You have lost a long time loyal customer!

Very good service by the waitresses and a hood place to eat big menu too and very reasonably priced and very clean.
This restaurant has become our Friday night, Date night, place. Love the staff and the food is never disappointing.
