I would give this location 1/4 of a star. Our server, a young lady, was obviously overwhelmed serving a party of 9. One would imagine that she would have had some assistance. Our party arrived at 12pm. Our meals were finally served at 1:15pm. Two appetizers arrived 30 minutes after we sat down. The physical plates were actually hot but the food on them was at best, lukewarm. Appears that the food was placed on the plates after the food sat for a while. I understand food not being piping hot. 2 hours into our meal, an older white woman came to pass out refills that we asked about 45 minutes ago. As she passed out a refill, I asked did she have any Diet Coke and she responded, "GIVE ME A SECOND!" with her hand on her hip. As she engaged our party, her tone changed and she became very snotty and condescending. Our party (all professionals) were taken about. Ultimately, an order had to be removed from bill (eggplant parmesan was so dry and cold, it was like play-do. Cheese so solid, you could sleigh over ice with it). I realized she was the manager and mentioned (after she asked how was the food) that the food was lukewarm, two of the (clean) dishes had remnants of a meal on them. This manager (in black chef's coat) became combative. I will ensure that we will never come back and 4 of the organizations represented at this lunch will inform our staff to NEVER PATRONIZE THIS ABOMINATION OF OLIVE GARDEN AGAIN.
Cammie was the most pleasant and thoughtful server that I have had the opportunity to enjoy for a while. Thank you Cammie. Olive Garden has a really hard worker. She greeted us with a smile and thanked our party of 10 for being so kind. I am not always a fan of the Olive Garden food but you made this experience worth while in my travels into the great city of Rocky Mount.Don't forget all you reviewers to LIVE a little, SMILE alot, and ENJOY life by BEING NICE!!!
I placed a Togo order everything was fine. When I got home to check my food. The chicken &Gnoochi soup was just water not chicken no dumping just completely watery with celery in it. Chicken Alfredo was dry barely any Alfredo sauce on it noodles were not soft they were hard. Asked for extra condiments as in extra Alfredo sauce got none of it.I wouldn’t recommend doing anything togo.
We were told to expect a 45 minute wait, it turned out to be only 15 minutes. Food was so good. Prices have not gone through the roof like many other restaurants have and our server great.
Great dinner tonight. Soup and salad. Service was good. Nothing special, but expectations were met as usual, from OG.Food Preparation: 8/10Service: 9/10Cleanliness: 8:10Value: 7/10
Definitely approve this Olive Garden! Came on a Friday night and it wasn’t super busy but pretty steady. Plenty of staff and they were all incredibly hospitable. Multiple staff members checked in on us during our stay. Our waitress was very kind to our daughter which put smiles on our faces. Food was standard delicious OG fare. Salad fresh and everything as expected. Great experience!
Pick up of food took a little longer than expected. I got home to eat my food and the chicken scampi was VERY DRY!!! I should have asked for extra sauce!! The chicken in the Scampi was moist and tender but there was no sauce to eat with the noodles and chicken!! The new shrimp appetizer was good.
Wife ordered Bottomless Soup & Salad and I got Chicken Parmigiana. Her soup and first salad bowl arrived fairly quick. Outside of that, it took 45-50 minutes to get my meal. In the meantime, the Server came to the table twice and said “oh, I forgot your drink refill”. Needless to say, never got a refill and sat with an empty glass most of our stay. Wife ordered another bowl of soup, we waited - waited - waited - and no refill came. We ended up paying our ticket and leaving. We will likely never return to this location! We saw two other tables walk out while we were there. To be clear, the restaurant wasn’t busy and there was staff everywhere you looked.
Used to be a lot better, but the breadsticks, soup and salad are still the best things here. Service is hit or miss
Wasn't permitted to have drinks at the bar while waiting for a table as it was "Closed" 2 hours before closing. They had no Pellegrino or any sparkling water? Really? They wouldn't cork the bottle of wine I brought because there liquor license doesn't allow it?? First time I've heard that one. Truthfully I didn't think the server knew what it meant to cork a bottle, that it's a service you pay for at any reputable restaurant. Items were forgotten and we needed to remind the server. At one point a person bussing tables struck up an awkward conversation about how he can't wait to leave, and other commentary on his job.Hardly to mention the food was mediocre at best, salad was the highlight. Nail in the coffin for me on this chain anywhere.
