Chew N Chat is the heartbeat of Rocky Mount when it comes to good food and a welcoming staff. Had breakfast yesterday and must say that I was so impressed with everything. The food was hot and delicious, never had to wait for a refill it was truly one of the best dining experiences that I've had in quite some time. Ask for Jennifer when you stop in, she has been there for years and is genuinely one of the nicest individuals that you would ever want to meet. Take my advice and visit this amazing eatery, you will not be disappointed.
When in Rocky Mount this is the place for breakfast. Quick, hot, cooked perfectly and never waited for a refill.Friendly staff. Local owned always so much better than chains. Skip the cracker barrels and ihops and come here !
One of the BEST breakfast ever. Staff really friendly and food ....well. Biscuit and hash browns best ever. Highly reccomend

We went because it was highly rated on Yelp and we would be in Rocky Mount around lunch time. To be honest, when we pulled up, I wasn't expecting much. It's an old, tiny strip mall with a gravel parking lot. However, once inside, everyone was friendly and we felt welcomed as customers. Great and speedy service, delicious food. Our server was extremely friendly as was the woman who checked us out. Not too far off of 95 and worth the extra miles to get there.
I ordered breakfast grits, chicken biscuit and home fries everything was too salty couldn't enjoy meal. They usually have delicious food so I gave them a two even tho the last two visits the food was extra salty.
Doesn’t look like much from the outside but don’t let that fool you. Inside was clean and cozy and the food was perfect. Highly recommend the “Chew and Chat Hash”. Staff was very friendly!
Just ate here for the first time and the food was delicious and came out very quickly! and the severs were so nice absolutely will be back again the atmosphere was just so calming an relaxing
