We like to pick up and take home. Food is great.... if you're able to get someone to answer the phone.
Always busy great food great people call ahead or show up and wait always worth it.
Subway has nothing on their Subs, very large portion they give you and really delicious plus with their complimentary cup of ice cream after the meal is a way to have other coming back!
The waitress/cook put my order wrong. The waitress told my husband he could have the pork chop but then came back and asked for it. A piece my husband had eaten off that was ultimately grilled but should have been fried. They floured the chop and fried it in the same batter and grease that other people are eating. The waitress bought the same chop back to the table. The employee yelled out " Here you are. The same pork chop. Not to mention there was a dog in the restaurant eating off the same plate the customers eat off of .
You ever did something different in your day and was pleasantlyNoticed and stopped in here on a whim and do pleased that I did. I come from Buffalo and in my opinion that's where you find great food. It has the kind of food where you are unconcerned about calories! I have tried several "so called" resteraunts that have hoagie sandwiches but this is the first that offered the taste and texture of a real hoagie.One taste of the sandwiches made here and you will be in heaven.I'm also pleased that the associate made a suggestion that offered me the sandwich and a fry for a great price. I'm going to frequent here more often and anyone wanting a great lunch should probably give Brian's a try.
The best fried potatoes of e world !!!Next May I will have another business travel in Rocky Mount (I'm coming from Italy-Europe) and absolutely I will return in this restaurant.
This used to be my favorite spot when coming back home. It has went downhill on portion and up on price. Even the waitress said “oh it’s so sad, only 5 onion rings”. Who even says that? I wouldn’t recommend here anyone as I would have 2-3 years ago. The onions rings used to have a smooth batter, the cheese used to be oozing out the cheese steak and meat used to actually fill the bun. For a $40 meal between my husband and I, we should have went to cookout.
The food was decent. The service wasn’t that good. Our waitress was so nice tho.
We've been in NC for nearly three years, regularly going to a nearby pizzeria, and we've seen this place , and kept saying that we needed to try it, but never did. Last week, we finally got there. My friend ordered their triple cheeseburger, and I ordered their cheesesteak, fully loaded with Swiss cheese, mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers. My friend never --and I mean NEVER -- gets excited about food, but he really loved the burger. I loved the cheesesteak; it was the best I'd ever had. No Steak-umms here! My friend also will not eat mushrooms, or anything containing them. He actually tried, and loved, my cheesesteak, enough that he said next time he's ordering that, and also firmly said that we had to bring the kids with us next time! The prices were more than reasonable. The seasoned fries were really good. The hashbrowns, not so much. I don't know who invented the idea of making shredded potatoes into a patty, but I've never seen them come out well. Hard and crunchy on the outside, underdone inside. No matter where I've had them, that's how they've been, so I won't knock them for this. I just know, now, to just get the fries! Great experience overall! The service was good, and food arrived quickly...you can't ask for more than that!! I've been here three times now, and I've not been racially uncomfortable, as a few others have mentioned. I've been greeted immediately each time, and the staff has always been friendly.
I was here in 2018, and disappointed. I returned last Wednesday and would have given 5☆ as the new server and food were excellent! Returned today, a different server, treated us as an inconvenience and the food was not prepared as well as last Wednesday. The cheese steak sandwiches had all the meat piled into the center, not spread out across the entire bun. Wednesday our drinks were kept full and we were offered ice cream. Today we had to get the servers attention to get a refill and were we offered our ticket, not ice cream. I will not plan on returning.
