My boyfriend and I went there for our anniversary and it was a quite disappointing experience. First, the lady who led us to the table was not friendly at all. Then we waited at least 15 minutes before the waiter came with water and menu.We ordered the deluxe sashimi and it doesn’t look like other review photos. The cuts were smaller, salmon still has some skin on it, yellow tail has a strong fishy smell. The display was also not as delicate as the ones in others’ review. We also ordered the sukiyaki. The flavor was fine and we were surprised that the portion is relatively big at first. Then we found out they used low quality frozen beef as the beef slices all sticked together. Anyone who cooks would understand that unthawed meat would stick together when boiled. We also waited a long time for our meal to come out and couldn’t even find our waiter when we want to get the check. Overall the quality of the food clearly doesn’t match the price and the service is not satisfactory. Will not come back again.

I have been here a couple of times with my colleagues. Food is good and prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend it.

We went to Waraji for a birthday dinner and it was quite the experience. The menu is extensive offering both regular items and seasonal items. The sushi offerings are so extensive they have their own menu. Not able to decide on so many types of sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls, we opted to pick a sampler for table share. Every piece of sushi was absolutely amazing. The fish was so fresh it melted in your mouth. Waraji also offers dinner sets that can be for one or two people. The food portions are substantial. They also post an impressive selection of sake. This is definitely a restaurant you want to come prepared for. Do your homework and check out their online menu beforehand. We did and still had issues deciding on their delicious offerings. ???

Great food and atmosphere. Sushi takes a bit longer than regular menu items, but are worth the wait. Nice variety of food and sides to please most pallets! Kind and attentive staff.

Food was amazing. Chicken wings were wowed with flavor sushi was out of this world. And my sons Tokushima Ramen was AMAZING

Really good food! Everyone was nice.

The food was absolutely amazing! The presentation was beautiful and I loved the atmosphere.I enjoyed my meal immensely and our waitress was so helpful & pleasant. She said she’d only been there a month but she did an excellent job!!It was my first time going there but I will definitely be going back.

So my cousin, fiancé, and I decided to go try this place out, and it was AWESOME! We've actually been back 3 times since then, lol! With that said, there are so many choices that it's almost difficult to choose; however, that's why we've been back so many times ?. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!The Furikake Steak Fries are great, but I thought they were a little overseasoned, so I would suggest asking them to go light on that in the future.. At any rate, the Sweet Potato Fries, Beer Battered Steak Fries (my favorite side), Burnt End Nachos (delicious but quite spicy, so make sure you have enough beer to wash it down lol), Karaage Bowl, General Ko's Bowl, OG Chicken Sandwich, Honey Gochujang Chicken Sandwich, Cashville Chicken Sandwich, Hot Honey Chicken Banh, Baht Mi (I'm not a huge mint guy (unless I'm drinking Mojitos, lol) so I always get it without), Belly Banh ((that's what I took a picture of and it was a MONSTER of a Banh Mi. It's my personal favorite and the best pork belly sandwich I've ever had in my life!!! ?)), Pyongyang Hot Chicken, KO.F.C., Viet*Satay (again, without mint), Roasted Jalapeño Pimento Burger (was to die for! Their Black & Blue Burger also looked amazing), and Crispy BBQ Shrimp was absolutely delicious!!! There are still so many more items I want to try ?.

I’ve been to Waraji a few times now and have never been disappointed. My go to is the “sushi for two” and it is the perfect amount to leave you feeling satisfied. You can tell that their selections of fish are great and super fresh, and the miso is some of the best in Raleigh. I went last night and it was hands down the best quality of fish I’ve had from them. Will always recommend Waraji

We came in around 8pm to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. We got a sake flight, appetizers, a sushi roll, and an entree. It was yummy. The sushi was delicious!!
