We had a 5 star dining experience here. 6 of us visited this place for after office dinner. We started off with a bottle of wine and I opted for a glass of Montepulciano which I highly recommend.The only off-putting part of the meal was the bread which was served with what seemed like chickpea battered butter (no idea what it really was but all of us disliked it). The brussel sprout app was an excellent choice but the bruschetta was ah-okay! The real star of the meal were the pastas that we all ordered and loved! I went with the pappardelle which was outstanding. I heard the four cheese ravioli was excellent as well. To top it off, we finished the meal with mini dark chocolate mousse, which was also excellent. Our server was excellent and kept checking in just the right amount and sold us on the mini desserts.Will be back again if we come to town.
Disappointment bad service very very poor presentation
This place is great. The food is good. They hate this guy cuz he said he ordered the meat pizza (Carne), calamari, and meatballs. Everything was amazing. I even enjoyed the cocktail that I got. It was the Brillare Rye: refreshing and delightful. It was a cool little spot. They have inside and outside seating. I enjoyed the Carne pizza. The selection of cheese that they use was really good and tasty. The service was also good. The calamari was nicely fried and seasoned very well. I love the roasted Peppers that they had with the calamari. The meatballs are also very nice and flavorful. I will definitely be back.
We had called a ahead of time to inquire about Celiac safe options but when we arrived found it was much different than we were lead to believe. There are very few Celiac safe options. While they offer a gluten free pizza and pasta they are not Celiac safe. I got Salmon and my bf pork chops. The server noted our dietary restrictions on both and neither of us got sick but our server was not very knowledgeable on the menu in general and told us spaetzal was a bean although we both were fairly certain it was a type of pasta. He was willing to ask about allergies though. However, I don’t like that they made an allergen substitute to my bf’s meal without checking to see if it was okay until after the decision was already made by the kitchen. Minus being oily the food was good, but the experience was not. The host and additional hostess (or manager maybe) welcomes and farewells felt in genuine. I felt like I was on a date with the couple to my left and right. I could not extend an arm in either direction or I would be touching the next guest. I could understand every word of their conversations as I’m sure they could mine and it was rather loud so it was hard to have a conversation in general. Also, for the prices on the menu I expected a cleaner restroom that did not smell so much. The only saving grace for this place was that the food did taste good.
Great experience and service with delicious food. Definitely get the brussel sprouts. The bruschetta is different than most being sweet rather than savory. The cocktails are a hit, but the wine list is also a great option. The gnocci was so delectable and filling that there was no room left for dessert, but next time I'll plan my bites better to fit in the tiramisu.
