Steak is always perfect
Well our anniversary dinner was a bust. My prime rib was served cold and had no flavor at all and our shared baked potato had been cooked for a while. Wife's steak was cooked as expected but it had absolutely no flavor. Our crostata could have been better. Her filet with Oscar was $100 and it just wasn't all that. Our 2 steaks, one salad, one baked potato and 2 desserts was over 200..very disappointed.
Sat us in the hot sun outside when there were ole Ty of tables inside. Very strange

What a disappointment. The oysters Rockefeller were fair. The onion rings were very good. The spinach salad was fair. The augratin potatoes were fair the steak was just slightly above fair and the lobster was very good. The prices are way to high for this restaurant. I won't be going back.

Steaks were just ok but for that price, they should have been outstanding. They arrived surrounded by can French fried onions, like the kind you make green bean casserole with)! Presentation was awful. We had 3 people in our party, we had 2 appetizers( fried green tomatoes and 5 oz ahi tuna), we got 2 five ounce fillets and 1 glass of wine, our bill was $300! We asked for bread 3 times before we got some near the end of our meal, they were fresh from the oven so they must have ran out. We will not be returning, there are too many excellent restaurants in Raleigh!
Everything was great but a little pricey. OK for special occasions.
The entrees were to die for , I hade the trigger fish , my wife had the bacon wrapped fillet , both cooked perfectly. The server Jack was 5 star all the way!! The only issue I found was , with such a gorgeous meal I would have expected to have a artisan bread at the table , just my opinion and kind of what we are used to in our travels
Vinnie's is our special occasion go-to restaurant. A trip to town to visit our daughter was the special occasion and Vinnie's was the special restaurant. Everything was excellent as expected. We can always count on Vinnie's to deliver a memorable dining experience with its incredibly good steaks and sides coupled with world class service. Thanks, Vinnie's.
