why would they take a reservation if the kitchen was closed? we drove 20 minutes for nothing. putrid.

Great food and a wonderful place to enjoy a meal. Outdoor seating is awesome, TVs available to watch your favorite teams. Restaurant is in Lafayette Village shopping center. Underground parking lot is available for those rainy or snowy days.

Good bar food, great service, easy and happy Friday evening at a comfortable venue that we’re happy to return to; any day of the week.

Entrees were great, but cajun fries are nothing to write home about, especially for the $2 upcharge. Only dessert available was vanilla ice cream so that was kind of a bummer. It felt like the AC was not on- we were all sweating and sticking to the booth, and there was an awful perpetual sqeauling noise the entire time we were there (sounded like a squeaky wheel or like a hoard of mice was in the ceiling). Our server only refilled our water when asked, and didn't come to ask if we were ready for the check for entirely too long after we had finished eating.

Service was terrible! It took 10 min for someone to come to our table. I ordered my food, burger with cheese, bacon and Cajun fries. Burger didn’t have the cheese or bacon and the fries weren’t Cajun. When I pointed it out to the waitress she brought me seasoning to season my fries myself. Refills didn’t exist! I asked to speak to the manager and she was busy throwing up in the back of the house. I will never return ever again!

I’ve been here many times before and I have had a great experience every time. but this by far has been the worst experience I have had at any restaurant ever. I came in earlier for lunch with two of my colleagues, our server looked like she did not want to be there or serve us. She was very dry and you can clearly tell she was forcing a smile. We heard who I hope was the manager say a few snarky rude comments to her fellow employees a few times. Incredibly unprofessional environment. I sadly will no longer be returning to the Village Grill as they no longer have my support. Everyone was very unpleasant. I recommend you to take your business elsewhere.

Pleasant evening, so we dined outside. I met 2 other guys from work for dinner. It was a Thursday evening. Overall, very good experience. The only minor quibble might be that the paved walkway outside does not have a clean transition to the next restaurant area. Some folk walked on the edge of the paved area some tried to squeeze through a narrow area. Neither was ideal, the edge of the paved area had some in progress construction under way with covered holes in the walkway, those that tried to squeeze through the narrow opening were at least slightly disruptive to those dining. Likely this issue will go away when the construction completes.

In our second visit to Village Grill we had a great experience. The service was great, the food pretty good and the patio and outdoor seating very fun. Thank you.

Me and my friend loved this restaurant! Went just after 12 pm on a Saturday and it wasn’t super busy, although while we were eating it started to pick up. The fries are so good, we both got a burger and loved it. The pink lemonade was super good as well. Nice restaurant

Quality of food has decreased, shipment boxes on bar top, wait staff dressed in sweat clothes, not enough staff and food mediocre at best.
