I had a horrible experience on Sunday April 24th. Myself and a friend ordered a reuben w/ a side salad and fish and chips respectively. My reuben was 1/2 the sandwich that I've had there on many occasions. The meat was tough and almost non-existent. My friend's fish and chips were just plain gross. Thinnest cold fillet you could find with rubbery cold French fries on the side. It was inedible. My friend sent his back and I worked my way through my meal. While the waitress apologized, no manager came over to express any care over the situation. My friend proceeded to order another beer while I finished. After a few hours at home, my friend decided to call in and ask to speak w/ the manager. He expressed zero concern and became belligerent, belittling, confrontationally yelling into the phone. My friend suggested that in future situations, it might be polite to say, "Have a beer on the house while you watch your friend eat" - but was met w/ derision by the manager on the phone and told him that "we are not here to give away free drinks". This was relayed to my friend by the screaming into the phone. Once again, zero apology was given by the manager. Will not be going back - ever.
100 beers on tap and they don't offer flights. Seems like a missed business opportunity. Food was pretty good though. Service was a bit slow as they were busy and understaffed.
As far as pub food goes, Village draft house is pretty damn good. There are a lot of ale/draft houses in this area but the food here is one of the better ones. Very large bar area as well.
Very good place for food around Raleigh!! They’re are also pet friendly and outdoor so it worked out perfectly. I had a burger which was really good and had some fries. It’s a really good place to eat in Cameron Village area. Fun to bring my dog with us to eat and he behaved very well. Thanks for having quality service and good food in the Raleigh area and for the Raleigh Community! :)

Great menu with options for everyone. Lots of outdoor patio seating during nice weather. Good staff and service. Be sure to arrive early as its popular and will get busy during peak hours.
We were seated after a 20 minute wait, which was fine considering everything these days. But then we waited 10 minutes with zero contact from waitstaff. At that point the table next to us was seated. Their drink orders were taken within 30 seconds. We still had no contact. I called over that waiter. When she returned she took our order but acted like it was an imposition and she was clearly impatient to get back to the table just seated and take their order too.This sort of thing is in a way minor, but in another way it entirely ruins the experience of going to a restaurant. It put me in a sour mood all day.
