Twice now I have called in orders and been told it would be ready in 30 minutes only to arrive and the order was not put in. The first time no one actually checked for the order I was just told it wasn’t ready when I arrived and after asking 20 minutes later they figured out the order was never placed to the kitchen. They made it quickly after that but no apology. I get it things happen but my order was missing again today. I left was not going to enter another order and there is not a comfortable place to wait for to go orders inside without feeling in the way. Food is good but overpriced and long wait times ruin the experience.
Solid lunch spot with a great covered patio. I had the burger and it was very flavorful. My mom loved the smooth chicken salad. Staff was very nice!
Food was amazing but they need to keep the tables clean to get 5 stars. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Lovely place to sit on the patio and enjoy lunch.
I give it the high ranking because the service was impeccable. A deli in this region has no excuse for sticking to the soft bread that it uses. I want a crusty Italian roll when I eat at a place like this.
We’ve been eating lunch here for years and never even knew that they served breakfast. The sausage and western wraps were better than homemade. They were prepared quickly and the staff couldn’t have been more courteous. Will definitely be back again soon.
Taken there by a friend. Service was quick enough and the sandwich looked good. However, I ordered chicken salad but I never saw any chicken at all. The salad part of the sandwich looked mostly as a white mush and no visible chicken. It seemed to be a a popular place for lunch. But, for what my friend paid, I would prefer to see at least a little chicken in the chicken salad. Over $31 for 2 sandwiches and tea before tip.
In short - aggressively mediocre and overpriced. Spent $12 on a reuben. Bread was dry like it had been baked in an oven, not grilled. No cheese. Minimal sauerkraut. Not enough corned beef, and of what there was, it was pretty low quality and rubbery. Adequate dressing.For this price, you can buy the supplies and make ten sandwiches at home to your liking. I feel kind of ripped off.
The foods are so very delicious.Aunt Annie's veggie pita is out of this world. I have eaten 6 sandwiches from there vegan to meat and I was satisfied both ways. Excellent service and great hospitality
This was our first visit and we ordered two Ruben sandwiches with onion rings and chili as our sides. The ingredients were top shelf from the corned beef to the sauerkraut. The chili and onion rings were also very tasty. I highly recommend Village Deli and Grill. ??
I personally would put more emphasis on the word Grill rather than Deli. The menu is quite robust. I have nothing bad to say. Staff was good about cleaning the tables as well.
