What good is a day without chocolate? Well not a very good one, I'd say. But if you're going to eat chocolate, then get it from Videri Chocolate Factory. Right in the heart of Downtown Raleigh, you can smell the factory before you even get there...that's a good sign. You can buy boxes, bars, or individuals. You can even take a tour of the Factory and see how they make their yummy confections.Take it to go or stay and have a cup of coffee while eating a flaky chocolate croissant, can't go wrong there.Great staff...yummy treats
Excellent service, staff at the entrance do know their products very well, we had the chocolate with sunflower seeds and it was amazing. You can also walk around a little self guided chocolate tour and then have coffee.
Fantastic experience! Self-guided tour was completely enjoyable (scan signs with your phone for video as you go). Joe offered taste-testing afterward, with cheerful education about origin and process. Coffee, chocolate croissant, and chocolate assortment to-go were all scrumptious. Kudos to Videri! I wish they were hiring…what an amazing place to work!
Somehow a modern chocolate and coffee shop in a historical building. The vibe just works really well. Prices were reasonable on coffee and chocolate bars. Staff were friendly.
Their chocolate is amazing. They have a coffee shop inside where you can get mochas. The employees have been friendly and helpful whenever I visit. It is expensive, so I only visit to buy chocolate as gifts. It does make a great gift! Learn from my mistake and watch out for their spicy chocolate bonbon. I was in a rush and bought it in one of their packs. That part of the gift was not appreciated as much. All in all, I highly recommend this place.
If your looking for terrible tasting chocolate at OUTRAGEOUS prices, look no further!!!!! My wife and I are in Raleigh for the weekend and saw this place on yelp so we decided to check it out. When we got there I saw they were charging $14 for 4 pieces of chocolate the size of Hershey Kisses to which I said “alright, but these things better be life changing.” The chocolate had basically no taste other than a stale fruity taste, and what we got was dark and milk chocolate. Not only was it not life changing, but it was so bad I immediately needed to take a drink of coffee to wash the taste out of my mouth. I suppose this could have just been a bad batch or something, but we got two different types so I’m guessing not. Either way we were thoroughly disappointed. The one star was for the coffee, which to be fair, was actually pretty good.
Great self guided tour! Fun to learn how they make their chocolate! Nice to taste before we purchased. Friendly and informative employees! Really enjoyed our time here! Ended with coffee & hot chocolate!
I was so amazed by this Frozen Hot Chocolate. I don’t drink chocolate drink because of the added sugar . But I’m now in love with this pure chocolate drink without sugar .. so good !
The staff here is very friendly and you can learn so much about how chocolate is made.I recommend coming here, kinda feels like a mini chocolate museum.
Nice tour of the place and get to know details of chocolate. Ordered a soft serve. Very delish.
