The food looks good but the taste was very bland. I had to order queso blanco in an attempt to give the food a little taste. My food wasn’t hot when served to me at all. But I could hear the pan sizzling. The honey bourbon shrimp could have been good but they were burnt some. The steak was cooked perfect but there was no flavor, no seasoning at all. My rice was dry and hard. The beans were watery and tasteless. Maybe I went in too late. I asked for a specific flavored margarita. I don’t know what I was served. I had to order a soda and it cost $3.50!! LoL Anywho, I spent $66 on tasteless food when I should have went to a regular Mexican restaurant to receive better quality of food and a much better adult beverage! Beautiful restaurant and pleasant staff. But it’s a NO for me!
The ambiance here was wonderful, as was the service. While they didn't have a vast selection of vegetarian options for me, the vegetable fajitas with corn tortillas, instead of flour (to make them gluten free), definitely hit the spot. The house margarita on the rocks with salt was also exactly what I was looking for. So, overall, this was a great place to meet up for a business dinner. I will definitely be back in the near future!
This is my 2nd visit to this restaurant. The 1st time was at southpoint mall and the food was awesome. On my 1st visit i got the chicken bowl and it was great. This time i visited crabtree and my bowl was the worst. It barely had chicken in it. The entire bowl was filled with rice. I almost wish i wouldve asked for rice on the side. I have a better experience at chipotle then i did here. I even showed my server...she act like she saw chicken throught the bowl??♀️ i didnt. I dont think ill be visiting this place again.

We would have stayed, but my uncle threw a temper tantrum. Expensive food, music doesn't match the atmosphere. Who plays Shawn Mendes in a Tex-Mex restaurant? DIRTY SILVERWARE! Server didn't ask for drinks or bring chips in time. This place is as Mexican as Taco Bell.
My wife and I ate here last night and had a wonderful time. The bartender greeted us immediately after sitting down and had a drink ready shortly after. It got busy but she still kept checking on us. The kitchen forgot one of the items we ordered but it was ok since we were already full lol Will come back again, especially for the margaritas!
So good! This was some seriously tasty Mexican food! I had the chicken enchiladas which were super flavorful and tasty. We also ordered the chocolate desert that you crack open like a piñata- it was a blast! Wish that there were more of these in other states.
From the beginning, nice staff and seems clean. The chips and salsa were tasteless but edible if you were hungry. We got the tacos carnitas which came with rice and beans. My partner and I got black beans which were ok but obviously microwaved. I had the cilantro rice which was only edible with the beans on top and mixing in some diced white onion. He had the Mexican rice and that was about the same.For the tacos. You get 3 for $17 and the sides. They come non traditional fashion with a choice of hard or soft tacos. Then the carnitas, cheese sauce, lettuce and tomato. I opted to change those toppings because I don’t like lettuce much and prefer white onions and cilantro. I kept the cheese because I do like that about American tacos. They were good with my adjustments but I don’t think I would have been happy with the original dressings.When the server brought us out food I noticed an absence of lime on the plate. I asked for some which greatly improved the flavor of the meat. It was fine by it’s self but the lime helped a lot.We also got margaritas which were ok but I can go down the road, and pay the same price for a much better drink.We won’t be going back. The food just want on point.Edit: I noticed a lot of people saying their wait was awful. We didn’t have this issue but there was only about 6 other tables in the restaurant.
Our first visit was just after they opened this restaurant in Raleigh and was it was a pleasant experience although the food was good but not outstanding. Our second experience was 5-6 months later. The server was very pleasant but the food quality had deteriorated. Our third and probably last experience was terrible. Service was extremely slow, unattentative, and our server had a limited knowledge of the drinks and menu. To make it worse, we had our 4 grandchildren ( ages 18mo, 5 yo, 7 yo, and 14 yo) who were extremely hungry and somewhat tired. The exceptionally slow service made a potentially enjoyable evening into a very challenging one. It will be quite a while before we return.
