Delicious!!! The staff and owners are wonderful. Will be back soon.

This was our second time visiting this restaurant. Obviously we enjoyed it the first time. However tonight the veal parmigiana and chicken was room temperature and the pasta tasted like it came out of the box. If we wanted box pasta we definitely would had gone to a chain restaurant or better yet stayed at home. Also the veal was over cooked and the chicken parmigiana had absolutely no taste. When we mentioned the poor quality of food to the waiter he was very Nonchalant to what we were saying. In conclusion this place get a one star and that is because of the atmosphere.

It took a pandemic-sized delay for a new stove for us to discover this lovely "golden nugget." The menu is a well-rounded blend of traditional Italian restaurant specialties alongside dishes for palates hankering for something different. Quality olive oil -- as opposed to just any olive oil -- is a staple component in tandem with the high-grade meats and produce used. The mozzarella and grated cheese are the real thing. As an Italian cook, something as simply complicated as the veal cutlet parmigiana preparation offers quick insight: here a cutlet pounded to the precise certain thickness and carefully breaded & fried delivers eye-rolling PERFECTION! A good marinara sauce -- like so many Italian dishes -- has few ingredients but will nevertheless reflect the chef's cooking prowess: theirs is all at once light yet hearty, simple yet complex. Even when Tuscan Blu is buzzing with hungry patrons, the food is a consistently deliciously made-especially-for-you quality -- truly a golden nugget in downtown Raleigh's food scene. Mangia!

The best pasta I've ever eaten with excellent service, first class attention, good atmosphere, attention and first class food. 100% recommended

Brought a small group of friends here for dinner based upon reviews, and was sorry I did so. Although place was empty, service ranged from slow and and unwelcoming, to indifferent. Oddly, you cannot order wine by the glass-only by the pricey bottle. The bottle you buy may not be standard size but smaller, so be forewarned to check volume. (If you prefer red but your partner enjoys white, this is not the place for you.) Although "Tuscan" is in the name, only the daily special was typically Tuscan. Menu is standard Italian-American fare. Pricey and less than stellar experience.

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending two weeks in various locations in Italy. Since we have been back we constantly talk about the amazing cuisine. Today we were taken back to that two week escape for a brief moment. Tuscan Blu was extraordinary. The food was absolutely out of this world. The staff and owner were polite and pleasant. We highly recommend and will most definitely return.

My husband and I are Italians from Bklyn NY who moved to NC a year ago. We had the pleasure of going here for the first time about a month ago.I can tell you the food is authentic Italian food. The service, food and atmosphere is outstanding. The owner was extremely friendly,so was the staff. The wine, appetizers, entrees and dessert were top notch. We have reservations here tomorrow, really looking forward to it. We will be regulars here for sure.

Was very disappointing- bland and not as described on the menu. Some of the most disappointing Italian food especially considering the price. Calamari were over cooked, Caprice salad had flavorless tomatoes, commercial mozzarella, no basil nor balsamic vinegar glaze. It did not get any better with the entries. No depth/ seasoning to bolognese sauce instead it was just a basic red sauce, same with al la vodka sauce. It also appeared that it was a bother to serve us. Not worth the price or the drive.

We enjoyed the food and experience at Tuscan Blue. Authentic Italian dishes were delicious, and a cheesecake finish wrapped up a wonderful meal. We will return.

Visiting the website and reviewing the menu, I was looking forward to a great experience. However, I was extremely disappointed in my experience at this establishment. A zero-star rating would be more fitting for myself and my parties experience. Our party was composed majority of African American women, and we could see that we were treated extremely differently. The owner was very dismissive and rude. The waiter was tremendously unpleasant, unfriendly, and impolite. To top it off the food was mediocre. It was poorly presented and very bland. By looking at the owners replies to other similar reviews, this seems to be the norm and he has no interest in taking ownership or making things right. I would never recommend Tuscan Blu to anyone.
