Lovely place to watch the sunset, have a great meal and cocktails and enjoy Raleigh skyline.

Fun venue. Only one corner has glass walks, otherwise you are seated against a stucco knee wall. Still fun. Zero parking at hotel for the Willard. Difficult street parking.

We came with other couples to try The Willard for the first time, for dinner, and were very excited about the rooftop views. Upon approaching the hotel, we drove to the "Hotel Parking"sign that indicated parking on the ground level of the hotel. The ticket machine and arm were stuck and would not open, so the parking attendant walked over to our car and said to us, " The parking is for hotel guests only, we do not accommodate guests for The Willard." She must have seen the shocked looks on our faces because she told us to go ahead and park "only this one time." I have traveled all over the world and stayed at many hotels with restaurants but have never been told I could not park because I was not a hotel guest. There are too many other nice restaurants in the Raleigh area for us to be treated that way, with convenient parking. The meals, ambience and service at The Willard were great, however, we'll be voting with our wallets and dining elsewhere in the future, and we will share our experience with our friends and on social media.

The food is really great, but the menu was limited, and at times we didn’t get the attention we needed from our waitress. Also, the food was late, but they made up for that by offering us a free glass of wine. Overall it was a good experience and we are likely to return.

Overall, my experience was nice. We ordered the jackfruit flatbread, lamb burger, and wagyu burger the flatbread was very tasty. The lamb could have been seasoned more. The wagyu was okay. I highly doubt it was truly wagyu. The drinks were not so good. We ordered mimosas and bloody Mary’s. I think they used day old champagne because the mimosas was flat. The bloody mary tasted like tomato juice, no flavor.

Had a reservation. After 2 hours we were told we had to leave because someone else wanted the table. Had just spent $300 dollars so far, had a full drink just ordered and we had to abruptly leave!! Manager was the person telling us this. I’m appalled how me and my two friends were treated. I will never go back there again!!! Also, food was just overpriced appetizers and drinks are way overpriced. The bar doesn’t even have flavored vodka!! And there is certainly no view whatsoever unless you want to look at a construction building!!

Great place to have great cocktails and delicious food!

This was our first time at The Willard, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The cocktails were delicious and artistically presented. The food was outstanding (we ordered patatas bravas, pan-fried halloumi, and eggplant-shishito flatbread). And the view was glorious. The only (very minor and very brief) annoyance we experienced was the blaring Amtrack trains on the nearby tracks. We couldn't hear each other while they were tooting away, but that was brief and really didn't detract from what was in every other way a perfect evening out. I recommend The Willard without hesitation, and can't wait to visit again!

Phenomenal restaurant and delightful service, highly recommend

Everything was great until the bartender had an attitude with us for asking for change, that was very weird, We felt she could’ve had another issue with us that wasn’t being said. We were looking to give our waiter a good tip since we felt cash is what they preferred. Not only did she give us an attitude but had a huddle with two other people in front of us talking about why she didn’t want to give us change. We didn’t understand what the hostility was about especially since we’ve never came at her rude. That’s the only thing we didn’t like that ruined our great time. It wasn’t a big deal but she made it one.
