The station has arguably the best burger in Raleigh, possibly even North Carolina. Great service, great food selection, and solid beer selection.Monday’s is $5 burger night.I recommend this place for any occasion.
Such a disappointment. The burger had no flavor. The cornbeef sandwich was only tolerable once we took off the cornbeef. It was not at all chewable.And sadly the only time our waitress came to check on us was to take away our plates. She never asked us how the food was. One look at our plates, it would have been obvious.
Well I should have taken a picture first I guess… but the food was so good I didn’t even think of leaving a review until I was done. The station salad is freaking phenomenal an awesome balance of flavors, the dressing was great and my husbands shrimp were a nice size and well seasoned. He loved his burger too. I had the hot fish sandwich with fries(which are actually potato wedges). It was flavorful and a good portion as well! And the fact that we ordered it Uber eats and it was still this impressive is a rare feat! I also like that the delivery bag was tamper proof bc it sat at the hotel an extra 10 min after delivery?
Great atmosphere - especially outside seating. Good chicken salad sandwich and burgers looked yummy too. Nice selection of beers! There was a wait just because...(wait for it)...understaffed. The staff they did have were excellent!
This place is cute. I came here for lunch and had the chicken salad sandwich with potato wedges. Those wedges were gooood. It was nice sitting out on the patio, the area is chill and our waitress was sweet. I feel like it would be a nice vibe at night.
This place has an awesome outdoor seating area. The atmosphere (plantings, bar, reclaimed gas station) is perfect. However, service is always less than ideal. On my last visit, I received attitude for asking for a menu (imagine, needing a menu at a restaurant). They insisted they no longer have printed menus and I would need scan a code. First, how hard is it to print out your menu on a piece of paper? Second, we don't all walk around attached to a phone - I don't feel the need to always bring it with me (not to mention the privacy issues associated with scanning QR codes). Third, why the attitude? If I ask for a menu, smile and get one. If you are just looking to get a drink outdoors, this is a good spot. Just skip the food and service.
I didn’t initially have high expectations for the restaurant as the menu was pretty small, but the food was really good. I got the Chinese chicken sandwich which was very flavorful. It was a combination of sweet and savory that was cooked perfectly. My dad got the burger with the pork belly and that was tasty as well. Also the host was very helpful and found a table away from others for my dogs.
The hostess sat us down and we waited at least 30 minutes without so much as getting our drink order taken before deciding to leave. It was as if we were seated and then forgotten about. It was not a busy day and other tables were being served so I don’t know why we weren’t being served. Extremely disappointed in the service.
This has been one of my favorite spots. However, we were disappointed with the new menu. Our favorites were no longer there: the grilled cheese, the BeetLT, the oysters, and even the cocktail menu was disappointing. It’s still a great hangout place, great service, centrally located with easy-to-find parking. But this new menu makes us not want to come back. Bring some of the classics back!!!
Went there for lunch and they had no heat inside ( it was in the 40’s). It was super cold inside and it ruined the entire meal. Multiple customers came and had to leave because the cold was too much. The poor servers and bartenders were wearing multiple layers just to keep warm. The food was nothing special, mac n cheese was horrible. Overall nice staff but the food was bland and flavorless.
