service and food is great and fast.

Great atmosphere, food, and great service.

Great little old style diner in Cary with great comfort food and very friendly service! Highly recommend!

Shiny Diner is like jumping in a time machine and going back to early 2000s restaurant prices. The portions are insane and the food is like mom's home cooking. I usually have to take half my omelet home to eat later. The pot roast was very good and the sandwiches have plenty of meat. The turkey is cooked in-house...not that processed deli slice stuff. The owner seems real nice. Watched him bring a b-day gift basket for an employee and I can tell he tries to serve the best product at the best value possible which is almost unheard of these days. This is a hidden gem and as far away from corporate trash as one can get. Well deserved five stars.

Great food, good friendly environment. I'm from South Carolina and the restaurant is very different from the ones here. The look of the place is what drew me to it and I DO NOT regret it at all. The food was ? the sweet tea was sweet like it should be. So thank you Shiny Diner for being different (but the same) and having awesome food. ❤❤❤??????????????

We ordered normal breakfast fare eggs, toast, bacon , sausage hash browns and coffee. My plate looked much bigger than what I ordered and couldn’t finish it, I only ordered one egg! Anyway, my partner was able to eat what I couldn’t. The food was good, similar to diners I would go t back in NY. The eggs were supposed to be well done, they were still a little too wet for me. I’m a picky eater when it comes to breakfast though. So, my partner enjoyed every bit and I ate what I could. The biggest plus, the food was not greasy. That made me very happy! The coffee was excellent and service was excellent also.

This was my first visit and I was really impressed. An immaculate restaurant of shiny stainless steel. Everything was clean, near, and attractive. All staff we encountered were very friendly and welcomed us. And the food! A tremendous selection of American foods, especially breakfast food. It was delicious. Well worth your visit.

The only reason I’m leaving a review is because it has such high ratings and I think this place needs to be humbled a bit. Normally wouldn’t leave a review for such a meh experience but we came here based on the good reviews and were pretty disappointed. The milkshake was good, and the ambiance was adorable. That’s where the compliments end. The service was pretty bad, and we were one of 3 tables in the restaurant. The food really wasn’t that good. I asked for my sandwich to be cold, not warmed. The server brought out the sandwich and as she’s placing it on the table she goes, “They toasted the bread, is that okay?” The fact that she asked that meant she knew it was wrong and put the plate in front of me anyway. Kind of ridiculous. Overall just a pretty below average experience.

Excellent Excellent customer service the ladies that worked tonight were very friendly, knowledgeable of the food items and the food came out hot and fresh. We are here for a track meet and the ladies encouraged my daughter and just made her feel like she could do anything. That made my night. Thank you Shiny Diner and staff. This place reminds me of a diner in VA called The Silver Diner the look, atmosphere and even the menu are very similar and the service is just as superb.

Travel back in time when you visit this diner. Nothing changed. Jukeboxes at each table loaded with songs from the past. Service and the staff treated us like family. The food was first class. First time I didn’t finish all of my breakfast. MUST VISIT THIS BLAST FROM THE PAST!!!!!!
