Had to make the stop while in town and it did not disappoint. The hot dogs were soooo good. We were able to talk to George and Kathy and hear some history behind the place. Love it and appreciated their hospitality ?. As George said we are family now ?
George and Kathy were amazing. He has been working there for 30+ years. Great wieners and friendly environment. Make sure to get your wiener fully loaded…even if you don’t want it all. Don’t forget, NO ketchup allowed!!
In town for a concert, found this place on Google maps and stopped by on a whim for a quick lunch. Really good simple food. Very small place, we were there at an odd time after the lunch rush, there was only one other person there. I can imagine it would be very crowded at busier times of day. Definitely recommend if you like hot dogs. Baklava was also good. Good drink selection.
Just the best. The chili has a subtle heat, the slaw is fresh and unique (not your typical mayonnaise sodden slaw) and the flat top grilling leaves little patches of maillard goodness on the dogs. No ketchup and no Pepsi is just a bonus.Owners are friendly and funny. Tiny place with 50's diner-style stainless walls and counters and an old soda counter style bar with seating for maybe 10, but that just adds to the charm. One of my favorite hot dog places in the world and I aggressively seek out hot dog places wherever I go.
This place is old and tiny but has the hot dog chili and hot dogs in Raleigh. Be forewarned it only serves dogs and the toppings are mustard, chili, onions and slaw. Period. Finito. I love it!

I read about this place on google and had to go when I came to visit Raleigh.Everything about the place is the perfect "hole in the wall" I am always looking for.You get one thing, hot dogs. I got mine all the way, with mustard, chili, onions and slaw. Loved it. There is no other choices.The wife, a NYC hot dog gurl, loved her onion chili and mustard dog.f you want a good dog in a place that has an insane amount of character, this is the place!
Cozy atmosphere. Amazing chili. Homey feeling. Definitely would come again!
