Visiting from Boston and we were looking for lunch. Our bartender was fantastic. The food, drinks and service was great. We loved the unique style inside. The chefs knocked it out of the park from the apps to the meals. Sorry forgot to take pics. Boston will love you all.??
Great atmosphere reasonable prices
Bradley was A-MAZE-BALLS!!! Food was off the chain. Felt relaxed, not rushed (like many places). The atmosphere was a delightful.
Rooftop terrace, outdoor curbside patio, several bars...feels 'hometown bar-y'...good selection of beers and cocktails and a great menu (those Peruvian wings are ??). Went in on mother's day, wasn't hectic, sat at a 4-top in the bar dining area and were served by Sarah. She was the most authentic, attentive, responsive person I've had the privilege to have been given service by, and everyone else seemed really friendly. Zero buyer's remorse here! I'll be back! This restaurant is really nice inside with olde-timey up-cycled newsprint facility vibes incorporated. When I ordered the Peruvian Crispy chicken wings they were melting in my mouth! It was cooked so perfect! The balcony view was refreshing too while you look out and eat.
The atmosphere was pleasant, and the view upstairs is great. I had bad service with our waiter, and I reported the issue to management, and nothing was done. He did apologize, and said he hoped the rest of my experience there would be great. So, the waiter was serving everyone around us, but our table. I was unable to even ask her for a straw for our water. 45 min later I got up and went to the bar and asked her to transfer our drinks downstairs where I could hopefully get service and order food. She did not care, gave us our ticket for our drinks, and told us she couldn’t transfer our ticket downstairs. We paid for our 2 drinks and went downstairs. We really felt discriminated against, and it was sad she did not care about how we felt. She never apologized, we got no response from her, but our ticket on the bar, like pay for it and get out of here. I don’t think I will be visiting this place again.
Great music, food was very tasty and nice size portions. But, it seemed that they were understaffed. Glasses drinks were served in were not clean. Took a long time to get service, even sitting at the bar.
Classy spot in downtown Raleigh with open seating, amazing food, and drinks. Relaxing ambiance. Beautiful exposed brick and art features. Incredibly spacious, and the high ceilings lend to this. Great choice for ladies night. I've dined here twice and will be back.
My husband and I are visiting Raleigh for the first time to celebrate his upcoming birthday. After a night out we came across The Raleigh Times and decided to stop in and have some drinks and food. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Brian was our server and was AMAZING! He had a great personality, extremely friendly, was very attentive and had some great suggestions! Our drinks were very good and the food was some of the best we’ve had! It was later at night so they had a limited menu of appetizers but we were not disappointed! I am very picky when it comes to chicken but there’s was the best I’ve EVER had! The fries were great, seasoned well the sauces were amazing, especially the house made bbq sauce, and my husband and I talked about the mozzarella sticks multiple times and that we’ve never had them taste like they did here. We mentioned this to Brian and he told us that everything is 100% fresh and made same day. I thought I’ve had fresh food like this before but unless they do some other sort of crazy unknown magic they didn’t mention I don’t think I have lol. We definitely want to go back and try out more of their menu while here! We literally loved everything about this place. The music, the service, atmosphere, the vibe and ambiance of the place, everything was great! Thanks for a great first experience!
Brian was great and attentive. The atmosphere was so chill had a great vibe. The food was amazing. The chicken was so fresh and delicious. The mozzarella sticks was soft and gooey. Oh and their home made BBQ is fire!! The drinks had a kick. They were so well-made. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to chill on a Saturday night.
