Neat little coffee spot! Cute area with a decent amount of tables inside and outside! They have pretty dope merchandise as well! Definitely go here if you’re looking for a quiet, calming place to work/study/hangout!
First time visitor. Love their vibe. Good wifi and not too crazily loud even on weekend. So a good place to work and enjoy yourself. I love that they have a verity of drink choices. I got brown matcha. It was so good! The food I got was ok. The fig jam is too sweet for me. But they have tons of other food choices I look forward to trying.
This place is beautiful, peaceful, and delicious! I got the chai latte and it was arguably one of the best I’ve ever had. I also got the cinnamon roll and it was really good, I highly recommend! My friend got the butterfly tea matcha and she loved it! Overall, it’s a pretty chill vibe with a gorgeous interior!
This coffee shop is the definition of cozy. Tucked next to Historic Oakwood, the exterior let's you know exactly what you'll be getting. A calm, relaxing space with moody paint and amazing design. If you're a plant lover, welcome to paradise.I got a standard cold brew and it was robust but not bitter. My wife got the seasonal herb garden and it was an eye opening experience. I never would have imagined using rosemary in coffee, but it worked perfectly. The food was nothing to knock either. It was out fast, the staff was just as welcoming as the design, and made you feel like a regular even if you've never been.This is probably one of my favorite places and I'll definitely be returning time and time again.

Every time I have come to the Optimist, I have loved it. It keeps me wanting to come back for more. Their coffee is outstanding - especially w/ their house-made almond syrup! I have had The Lunch Club and Breakfast Club sandwiches, as well as the Goat Meal and all of them have been nothing short of amazing. I bring my friends here every time they are in town and they are always pleased. Not only is the food and coffee good, but the environment too. It is calm, the decor is great, and the staff is always so nice and it genuinely seems like they enjoy their job. This is definitely my coffee shop of choice! Thanks for being here, Optimist!
Delicious English muffins. My wife and I were only in town a few days and we swung by this place for some coffee and a small breakfast before we started our first day. They were pretty busy and only had 2 people behind the counter so it was a bit slower getting the coffee, but the food came out fairly quickly. The staff was super friendly and patient with us as we ordered. The atmosphere is cute and it's great that there are places to sit outside in both the front and back. We loved this place so much, we went back again for breakfast and coffee the next day. Highly recommend.

This place is lovely. From the people behind the counter, to the relaxed, hip atmosphere, it’s a super cozy place to just chill and sip your coffee slowww. I happened to go there for my first time on a day where they had a Thin Mint Matcha Late as their special. Oh.My.Gawd. It was so beautifully crafted (see pic) and was really reasonably priced- even after subbing their house made oat milk for the regular whole milk. I’ll be delighted to show off this hidden gem to any friends and family who come to visit. Oh, did I mention they make a pb&j sammie on a house made croissant! Just wow.
