I am so happy that I came and dined here tonight. The drinks delicious, the food is the best I have had in Raleigh(original New Yorker, I know food). The Mac cheese is cheesy and better than your grandma’s(3 different cheeses) the Brussels sprouts mouth watering, the sliders( Nashville, and bourbon sliders just perfection. Not greasy just the right amount of seasoning.The bourbon is top notch. They go to the farmers market and hand pick their ingredients.Owner Hailey and assistant Tyler are southern hospitality with a pinch of Chicago.I have found my spot, can’t wait to try all the bourbons. Must place to visit if you want good food and an excellent adult atmosphere.
AHMAZING. We were so impressed by the service and food! Bourbon selection is incredible - and they have their own type of bourbon for the Old Fashioned that is so unique you’ll never know the full recipe!
We started coming to the oak for takeout for our anniversary in 2020. The food was great! Tonight was the first time we've been in person and the food is even better! Also the old fashion was fantastic. I highly recommend the sliders (all of them are good) and the brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese.
Though they unfortunately were out of the bone marrow we went for, it was still great. The mac and cheese was a big hit. The brussel sprouts, deviled eggs, pretzels, and brie sliders were all really good. Additionally, they were very accommodating of our large reservation.
This was our second time and it was even better than the first visit. The food is awesome and their bourbon/whiskey selection is the biggest I've ever seen. I would come here for the food and/or drinks alone, but you can also get a personal whiskey lesson if you're interested. The server knew everything I could have imagined and even gave us fun stories and history about the different processes, brands, and anything else we asked. We had such a great time!
Amazing experience. Glenn at the bar was the best bartender I've ever seen. He alone makes it worth coming back. Every piece from the hostess to the atmosphere was top notch.
Went here for the first time tonight, and everything was absolutely delicious!!! I definitely recommend the Braised Pork Shoulder and/or the Brisket Sliders! But honestly, everything on the menu is probably worth it..!Our waiter's name was Tyler. His service & storytelling/advice about bourbons were both absolutely awesome! He was great; hopefully he'll help us again in the future!!
One of the best bloody Marys I've had in Raleigh. We got the feeling that brunch was new for the restaurant but perk was it was pretty empty at 10am on a Sunday. Good food and prices will say we would pass on the cinnamon rolls next time but otherwise very happy with our meals.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was great, made to order. If you're a bourbon lover this is the place for you! Atmosphere of the Restaurant is southern rustic and is nicely done.
This place is definitely a new go-to. I brought my bf here and we were both very impressed with the attention to detail with their wide variety of bourbons. As someone who doesn't drink dark liquor very often, I have to say their in-house bourbon is reeaally good. The food is equally AMAZING. We tried the cheese fries, short rib sliders (luckily, as it was their last night on the menu), and beef and bourbon sliders. Needless to say, the clean plates spoke for themselves lol.
