Haymaker has its charm, I have to say it’s one of my Raleigh’s best bars to visit. From comedy shows, to music, and art! What is there not to love about this place?.Also, Taylor will take good care of you, make sure you try the Dreamville cocktail ?
While the aesthetics of the restaurant are remarkable and the service of some of the staff was delightful, I can’t say that I would return to eat here. Upon requesting to have our cake that we brought cut, we were told it would be $4 to plate each slice. We declined that as there were seven of us there and the cost didn’t seem reasonable for the occasion, so we asked if we could just have the cake back. In the process of this the manager, Laura, said some questionable things to the table. Mind you, we were celebrating a birthday. Laura said that if we were to cut our own cake then it would be the equivalent of homeless people coming in to dine and laughed. I don’t believe she entirely understood the gravity of her comment, as that was made clear with her laughter. When we explained to Laura why her comments made us uncomfortable given the racial and socioeconomic connotations associated she said she understood, but I fear that she doesn’t understand how inappropriate her comments truly were.
Had a great time here Thursday night with my friend. They really treat you like family here an everyone was nice an customer service was awesome. I will be back. Thanks for showing me a great time.
Good music and great drinks. I went in a Thursday, it was mostly new hip hop while I was there.
Had a dj with a really cool vibe on a Saturday night. Small place but, the drinks were really good and different.
Cute and festive, but it’s difficult to find something I actually want to order from the special Christmas menu.
Absolutely overrated. The place was empty yet they had a 50 people line. It’s outrageous. They’re trying to justify their overpriced drinks. Don’t go here. It’s not worth it. Waste of time. Completely fake

Great atmosphere! DJGrantOffical DJ’ed and is AMAZING!! And a cute white boy lol ?. Good drinks. Medium size venue, good vibes, mixed crowd & a good time. It’s in the cut across from the Marriott side entrance. Not your average hole in the wall.
Had a great evening with pre dinner drinks here. Bartender was great and drinks are amazing. It was easy to miss the entrance as we walked right past it. It’s between two buildings and the door is to the back side of the open patio area. Will post pics later with updated review!
