We ordered takeout from here and the food arrived in 30 minutes. It was still warm enough that we didn’t need to microwave. The chicken and rice dish was not overly sweet with some pineapple and vegetables. The beef pho and creamy soup were also good. I would order from here again. They didn’t provide any utensils so make sure to request them if you need chopsticks

Spontaneously popped in this restaurant, then read the reviews after sitting down. I was pretty hesitant but when it food came it was great! Portions were generous, the seafood tasted great and the price point was excellent. I personally got the Pad Thai which was par. It was mostly chicken and noodles which was a little disappointing but the flavor was nice. Definitely plan on returning.

Nice staff and the food has great presentation. Great place if you only order certain dishes. We had pad Thai and drunken noodles. The Pad Thai was extremely bland and the noodles clumped together too much, 2/5.The Drunken Noodles on the other hand was filled with flavor and ingredients. If they added some heat it would be perfect, 4.5/5We’ll have to try their curries and fried dishes some day.

Ordered via DoorDash, where this restaurant has rave reviews. Tough, fishy mussels. Extremely dry chicken (in both the curry and soup). Crunched down on something gritty while eating my curry. Overcooked rice and noodles. Expensive, too ($50 for a meal for 2, not including tip for driver). Only items I'd recommend were the spring rolls. Extra star because the food was packaged thoughtfully. If this is the best Thai food in Raleigh (as some reviewers have claimed), I'd hate to try the worst...

Thiaphoon Bistro, is IMHO, underrated and overlooked. Tucked away just behind Hibernian Pub and just feet away off the well-beaten path of Glenwood South, in downtown Raleigh, is this joint. It's always clean, always. It's quiet and it's a very charming and beautiful restaurant. Their front patio, is dope too. Big, spacious and quiet. It's surprising quiet, considered how not that far they are to all the action of the Glenwood South district. The food is always banging and so is their service. The bar is good too. Nothing is lacking about dining here.I give it two ??

Food has so little flavor--no salt or other seasoning on bland veggies. Where there is a sauce te is too little to make up for the bland veggies. Tofu was boring, and worst of all, the chickern had that taste of chicken that has stoodn cooked for many hours. Place should get a chef!

For $14 pad thai, it has nothing but bean sprouts and noodles. But most disappointing of all was that they put in an OLD LIME. It literally didn't produce a single drop of juice--it was 100% dry. We spent $45 on take-out, and no one enjoyed their dish (steak was extremely hard so my kids couldn't chew it). Sadly, last and only time.

We used to order from this place at least once a week because we absolutely loved their food. Couldn’t go wrong with anything on it. Drunken noodles, all the curries… amazing. Until a couple months ago.I don’t know what happened, but it’s gone downhill. Must be a new cook or something.I only write this review so it may get some attention from management for some corrective action… get that old chef back please!

Lord Jesus! You call this Thai food? Thai food is soul food but what we received was not even close to it. Food had no flavor whatsoever and it seemed like they forgot to put seasoning in all 3 of the dishes. Fried rice was no different than normal white rice. Like c'mon y'all fried rice has EGGS in it!  just Google Thai food man and try to follow how to make it. Maybe then you'll know how to cook authentic Thai , or even somewhat close to authentic will do.Chicken in Panang Curry was so chewy and tasted decades OLD! Fried rice chicken was ok. Drunken Noodles weren't the wide one but the noodles used in pad thai. What a waste of money. People giving 5 and 4 stars haven't tasted the real and amazing Thai food yet. Or maybe we were just given the worst food *Shrug ?‍♂️ *Food was not even hot but lukewarm. We even told them we want "piping hot". The waiter made this duh-of course face which made us happy like wow man we're gonna see steam  coming out of it. Food had no steam coming out of it. Only drunken noodles (which wasn't drunken noodles at all but some fake pad thai thingamajy) was warm in the middle. That's all. Everything was cold. Smh! What a disgrace!

Yellow Curry & Sticky Rice were ??Support these folks and their tasty Thai food.
