Went here on a Saturday for lunch. This is a typical “trendy new restaurant in the neighborhood” spot. It’s good for lunch or dinner. Good service and good staff. I’d recommend this for a casual night or day out.

The food was amazing. We experienced great service. Will definitely go again.

Such a great find while visiting Raleigh NC. Great atmosphere and service. The appetizer was perfect and the wood fired pizza was SO tasty!

I had the shrimp tacos, and my gf had the cheeseburger, both with roasted beets and peanut salsa. The service qnd all of the food was amazing. Totally worth it.Also i love the pay online feature with a QR code on the receipt.

I don't really understand what New American means, but the food is delicious. I've the best bolognese here that I've ever had before! Also, their pizza is cooked in a wood fire oven and you can taste it, okkkayyy!!!! Delicious.

I love coming here for date nights, girls nights & group dinners! They’re pretty busy, even during week nights, so expect drinks to come out a little slowly. Although they’ll be quite good when they get to you. I went in a group of 6 and everyone loved their meal. The steak, the pizza, the appetizers. Our orders ranged and every plate was awesome. We had a super friendly waitress and the ambiance is nice which amplifies the experience.

This is a staple for my family and I. we ordered drinks and lots of food for my birthday. The drinks took longer than I would've hoped but the waiter was really communicative about it. the tacos are amazing and the squash dinner is as well. The white pizza with meatballs and bacon is a MUST.

tl;dr: If you're looking for a really good place to have dinner in the Village District without breaking the bank, Tazza is your spot.Pros:Friendliest staff of any restaurant I've been to. Seriously, management, if you're reading this give everyone a raise.Plentiful parkingLarge menu with options for even the pickiest of eatersEverything on the menu is good. All the things I've tried here from appetizers, entrées, and dessert is flavorful and portioned perfectly.Affordable, especially for the locationCons:Wish there was more outdoor seating. More of a limit of the space.

Delightful place, pleasant staff and fairly good food. Got the kale and chili salad. A wee bit plain on the ingredients but still a good flavor. Added shrimp which were excellent.

It was a fabulous night out. Teen daughter wanted to take some friends for her birthday so we reserved two tables. They sat at one side of restaurant and us at the other. Great food. Really liked the selection of local brews as well. Dishes were terrific. Really good crab cakes. Good tasting chips and quac. Everything had a little bit of kick so if you are sensitive watch that. All staff had masks which was nice. Really a perfect visit. We will be back!
