I came across this place (in Cary, Harris Teeter shopping center) by accident last week, stopped in for a late lunch. Had the soup and salad combo. It was outstanding. Chicken lemon soup was nice and tangy (like some make it in Greece) and the Mediterranean salad was also a great mix of flavors and a bright appetizing plate. Pita chip and pita bread pieces were also nice. Plenty of food for a reasonable price, and great service.
"better than nothing" - a quote from my boyfriend. It wasn't bad, but it certainly was underwhelming and not somewhere I would go again. Chips were stale, red potatoes appeared to be completely unseasoned with the exception of what tasted like lemon juice? Generally not the typical flavor profiles you would expect from Greek food. The staff was very welcoming.
I love their mediterranean salad with grilled salmon - absolutely delicious! It's a very healthy option, which is easily made guten free (important for me, as I have Celiac disease), simply by asking them to leave off the pita bread.
We live near this restaurant and so we were curious to try it. We particularly recall during the coronavirus crisis when restaurants started to re-open this one seemed to be doing pretty well as they have lots of outdoor seating. What we found when we came to visit was nice, though there were two (small) negative aspects. It was too hot to eat inside, we were unclear why they had not turned up the air conditioning, so we ate outside. There is ample outdoor seating, both on the side and in the front. The main outdoor seating area on the side offers a long wooden table (curiously, the table had a long black streak of what looked a lot like mold, but we assumed that it was not). The other negative aspect was that even though this is billed as a "Mediterranean cafe," they do not offer falafel, which I thought was standard fare for these types of restaurants. Nevertheless, we found enough food from their menu to satisfy us. We ordered whipped feta cheese with veggies, Greek lemon chicken soup, basmati rice, tomato-cucumber salad, a plate of tzaziki and hummus with pita bread, and a Child's Feast from the kids' menu. The food was good, though nothing spectacular. We had beverages but did not order any wine or beer from the bar area. The outdoor seating area on the side is particularly attractive with a cute matrix of windows looking into the inside and with ceiling fans. The service was friendly and attentive. The prices are not too expensive for this type of restaurant.
I ordered through Door Dash... and.. while the food WAS ready with lightening speed.. the food was rushed, tiny portions for the price and frankly just not not worth the money I spent on it.I ordered Grilled shrimp with salad and potatoes. The shrimp had no color, there were MAYBE 5 quarter sized shrimp( and these were supposed to be the Main part of the dish) and they really had no real flavor let alone tasting of any greek seasoning. And then there was the chicken lemon soup. I have had this soup before and loved it. What I ordered today was hot lemon juice with rice in it! It was so sour i had to throw it away. I tasted no chicken at all..I spent almost 40$ on a couple of burnt potatoes, boiled shrimp and hot lemon dish water. I am very unhappy. The salad was decent but the food was really not worth what I just paid for it.
One of my favorite Mediterranean joints! Food is ALWAYS fresh!
Consistent service and the food is awesome. There's something for everyone here. I particularly love their family meals that I can grab curbside after a long day- easily fills up a family and always fresh!
I love this place. The food is so fresh and good and flavorful!! the staff is really nice. The restaurant is clean and nice looking. Food came out quickly. Overall 10/10 experience!!!!!
This place is in a great location and was moderately busy for lunch on a Saturday. We were greeted and served nicely and the food came out quickly. I would highly recommend and will be returning.
Did a call in, they have 2 separate pick up sections but only helps those who are at the place order sign. It's no zoe's kitchen. Food is ok.
