Really impressed with decor, cleanliness and had a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly! Loved the second floor outdoor dining experience!!! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

I love the food and atmosphere so much.

I noticed a crowd of people giving testimony about a trader Mrs Roseline Jason for helping them earn a huge amount of money from trading so I decided to give her a try out and to my surprise that my first withdrawal was so easy and fast without stress. Second time I have been to this restaurant and several menu items not available. Today two classic key Greek items not available ....the Pastitcio and the Moussaka. Excuse was because its Sunday. Really! Get your act together Taverna Agora!

Rough start. The kitchen was backed up. We waited a half hour after our reservation time to be seated. Staff were stressed and didn't feel welcoming. That being said, things got much better once we were finally seated, and the food was truly delicious! :)

Six of us got a table on the deck on a very warm night. The deck was lively and busy but really an oasis. We shared the appetizer platter which was very good and the Saganaki which was delicious. The cocktails were yummy. Mixed dinner reviews - the chicken souvlaki skewers were delicious and generously portioned. The Greek salad was yummy, but the lamb chops (2 separate orders) weren't cooked that well - some parts overdone, other parts bloody. The baklava was delicious. This place is no secret - a steady stream of customers on a Saturday.

Some of the family got together at AT for dinner. The service was friendly and attentive. Everyone raves about their food. Definitely affordable. Definitely eat there if you are in Raleigh.

We enjoyed the ambiance and the service we had was impeccable. But we ordered 2 mezzes: 1 grilled octopus and 1 spinach salad: octopus was very very good but you get only 1 tentacle of octopus:( and in the spinach salad you get a lot of spinach! but I could not find the seeds or the cheese or the fennel shavings or the orange segments because there were so few of these :( I guess we will skip mezzes next time but we will return for main dishes and particularly the lamb shank which is delicious.

This is an excellent place for a relaxed family meal.. The ambience and the decor screams old-school Greek. And the food hits the spot! No compromise on the flavors! There's a vast selection of Greek winds and cocktails ? but we decided to play it safe with our pick... The wait staff are extremely friendly and always willing to go above and beyond. The restaurant is packed on the most occasions so make reservations! Good selection of vegetarian starters. Just one vegetarian entrée which my friend enjoyed. Overall I would definitely go back in a heartbeat!

A good Greek restaurant near downtown Raleigh. Good selection of authentic Greek food. They have great waitstaff who are very nice.A good spot for sure. Go here!
