Food is cooked fresh. The owners work very hard. However, If I placed a to go order and 15 people come in after me and order and get their food before me that's not good customer service. I didn't complain because every time I asked the lady have she started on my order she walked away. I also saw one of the waitress let her know that one of the customers ordered no mayo on her sandwich and instead of replacing it she gave her 2 new pieces of bread and removed the one with mayo that touched the meat instead of changing the entire sandwich.

Had no idea this was attached to a gas station. My sister and I were a bit hesitant, but we were so glad we gave this place a chance. Cute diner atmosphere and it was spotless!Wait staff were great as was the food. Definitely would come back to this little gem.

Oh my goodness. We just did a Google search for breakfast and thought we would give Sunny's a try. So glad we did. Prices are so reasonable and everything tasted so fresh and the waitress was a sweetheart. Went with two others and we all got something different. No complaints at all!!

Sunny's has pleasant and efficient waitpersons. The owners are friendly and make delicious food. My granddaughters always get bacon and pancakes. But there are several breakfast choices. I've never been disappointed with the food.

This is the perfect down-home breakfast option in North Raleigh. No fancy schmancy concoctions with exotic ingredients-- just plenty of bacon, eggs, sausage, grits, hashbrowns and choice of bread guaranteed to fill you up and send your cholesterol soaring! Omelets and pancakes are excellent too. Your server might call you sweetie as is the Southern greeting. They also do lunch but I haven't tried it. See you there some weekend morning.

We've come here often; They cook your eggs just right, the waitstaff are friendly and work hard,,, the problem has become over the past few visits that the cooks fix any order they please. And not necessarily in the order received! We watched them serve 6 plates to folks who came in After us. We got up and left.....for the last time.

Far as the customer service, the latina waitress seem either tired or lazy, however she was nice. The pancakes were good but a bit hard to cut. You need a steak knife to cut the pancakes. The eggs and hash brown were not seasoned. Our first time here. Most likely be the last!

A hidden gem! I'm glad we discovered this great little diner that serves breakfast all day. We were greeted and given beverages immediately while we perused the menus. I got the fat and fluffy french toast with scrambled eggs, and my husband got the pancakes combo that came with three different types of breakfast meats! The food was absolutely delicious, but the service made it extra special. The entire bill came to less than $20. They should probably raise their prices! The atmosphere is that of your typical Diner, but I noticed the place was extra clean! Something I appreciated more than ever during a pandemic! PS- I included a before and after picture of our meals; we ate every bite!

My go to for a quick breakfast sandwich.

Quick good food I had grits with eggs
