While the brisket was moist there was way too much fat mixed in. I really don’t enjoy a lot of fat in any meat. The smokehouse people are very nice though!
I can not say enough about this food, this customer service, this concept, oh, and did I mention the brisket??? Seriously, the best brisket I have ever had and with the mac'n cheese... totally heavenly. I am a huge fan and will follow these popup opportunities every chance I get. Yum!!!

Great BBQ at this food truck under a tent, today for lunch in Wake Forest.Sadly, burnt ends were sold out by the time I got there. Note to self: go earlier next time.Ordered a pair of brisket options. First is a brisket sandwich, which comes with a side. The brisket is top notch - crisp, crunchy bark, flavorfully smoked, lean, juicy and tender. A couple of fresh-carved brisket slices are cube-chopped and piled high on a bun. I chose green beans as the side. A delicious scoop of beans, long-simmered with chunks of pork and onion. Salty, with a touch of heat.Shout out to the mac 'n cheese. It's made with sweetened condensed milk and a hint of cinnamon. A unique, sweet and savory taste along with the gooey cheddar. Top the whole thing with a pile of that chopped brisket. NOW you're talkin! Scrumptious.I recommend Smiths Smokehouse. Good stuff.

The ribs are hands down the best I’ve ever had! My fiancé and I picked up their ribs from the north hills pop up market today and we were hooked! The owners are super friendly as well and certainly know what they are doing! If you order from here, you will not be disappointed.
Had the two-meat plate at Compass Rose Brewery. So good! Have been repeatedly disappointed at The Pit recently and the Smiths restored my faith in barbecue :D
