Very sad they only had a 90 sanitation rating. This used to be a very clean Smithfield years ago. They have gone downhill now. I didn't notice a 90 until after I ordered. If I would have seen that earlier they would have lost my business. I won't go back until they get like a 97.
Disgusting food and the service is terrible .They could care less if they take your order or not. Poor management. Never been to a Smithfield Restaurant before like this . I thought they would be as clean and good staff as the others but I was definitely wrong.
I LOVE this place ! The employees are great and the food is even BETTER!! Every time I’m in the area I definitely stop here and grab something to go. If you love southern food, then I definitely recommend trying this location out. You won’t be disappointed ?
Terrible experience. I just spent over 20.00 in food and the sandwich was cold and chicken was old and very very salty. I counted 10 fries and they were also cold. Tried to call several times nobody answered. That is too much money to be spending when you have to throw the food away. Im very disappointed
Went thru drivethru, only car in line, no one inside. Ordered two sandwiches and fries, $15.71. Got home and only one sandwich and fries in bag. Looked like sandwich was thrown together and then thrown into bag. I returned to store and told them I wanted my money back. Store manager returned $15.70. I started to my car and decided no, why give them even one cent to poor service and no even a sorry for their screwup. I went back inside and said they still owed me a penny. The manager put a nickle on the counter and said, 'here, don't spend it all in one place'. I went to my car, got 4 cents and returned to the store and told him that I didn't need the 4 cents and I would never be back.On a slow slow evening, they screwed up a simple order, I made a return trip and they never even offered a 'sorry for the mistake.' I'll go elsewhere for my barbque!
Today I was not feeling the bbq, it didn't have any vinager on on it so the taste was really not there for me today, it's like they cut up tha hog and just put it on my plate..no ? tha slaw was not as creamy as it usually is,. Today just seemed like it was not tha cooks day. But I'll give them another try, maybe they will get more stars next time
Incredibly sad how downhill it has gone. Used to be affordable and great food but now the prices are out of control and the customer service is poor. We had nothing but fat pieces in Brunswick stew and they said they don’t allow exchanges for the food even while we dined in. We asked for a simple pork sandwich instead which was cheaper than the stew too and it was a hassle to get this switched out and they said the fat was normal. This is two times in a row the stew has been horrible so we’ll never order this again. We’ve eaten at Smithfield for 20+ years and never had a stew like that. The value at this restaurant is not worth it anymore and you are better off at a real bbq restaurant where their pork is properly cooked and not steamed. A steamed bbq sandwich with fries and a drink should not cost $9.49. This company has lost their minds.
Grabbed a quick plate here at the drive-thru, never eaten from this restaurant before. Pork was soggy and flavorless, my sprite was 90% ice and 10% drink, the beans were basically like any canned beans you pick up at a store... I think the only decent thing was the hush puppies. I definitely wouldn't pay for a meal here again. Could spend the money anywhere else for better food.
Just ordered 2 value packs and one hot dog. $25. BBQ and hush puppies were dry and stale. Bun was soggy before I brought my food home and barely any slaw on what you've asked for. Highly disappointed.
Totally disengaged employee taking orders; nothing functioning in men's room ( soap dispenser; towel dispenser etc ); cold fries. Not the quality you expect from Smithfield's.
