One-time customer for sure. It wasn't busy, but it took over 20 minutes from the time that I got there to get my order. I think that it's poor planning to have the one person at the register answer the phone, allowing those in line to wait and hear that someone is ordering via phone and doesn't seem to know what they want. Then, I get onions on my burger when I clearly asked for no onions, please. It wouldn't bother me if the burgers were better. I don't think that it was enough of a step up from McDonald's to justify the hassle and price. The price of a smashburger is more comparable to five guys, which is much better in terms of ingredient quality and, in my opinion, flavor.
This was my first and last time eating at Smashburger. My go-to is Five Guys and wishing I stuck with the usual. But I found out they have tots and they don't have those at Five Guys. Everything was way too salty, the tots almost inedibly so. I've actually never had a burger that was too salty. First time for everything I guess. The tots were also more grease than potato. Feeling pretty gross after that meal.
It was good, but this place is not a good value. Burger and fries at Wendy's would be just as good and 1/2 the price.
this is a great location! the service was great!!! you can tell they might be a lil short staffed but nobody wore it on their shoulders!!! and per usual the food was fresh and good!!!
The taste of the burger sang quality and flavor ?!!!I had to throw 1/3 of the burger in the trash ?WAY too much saltFries ? were amazing in flavor, but swimming in oil.I will try it again if they can can order it without the Salt
Delicious burger would definitely reccomend or even crave again, smash fries were good but overrated. Great atmosphere in the restaurant
The food is good. It is. The brussels make me get into the car and drive here. But the place is sad. Dark, dirty, no music playing, nobody at the counter to take my order. I'll have to try the Durham location...
We were the only people there and no one wanted to take my order. We felt ignored. One lady was sweeping the floor on to our food as we were eating. No music, dim lights, just a sad, sad experience. Never going back.
Overrated big time Long 20 minute wait with only 2 customers in the store at 12 noon.. $3 French fries were cold and literally smashed into a drink cup (I hate soggy, thin shoe-string fries). Classic double hamburger was greasy and tasted like boiled meat. I went to snashfeedback dot com to complain and their mobile site doesn't work! I predict this place won't last much longer. When I pay well over $13 for a burger and fries wait 20 for it I expect...at minimum...for it to be well prepared, fresh and hot. Disappointing, and certainly won't go back.
My smash burger and fries were really fresh and delicious. The staff seems to be very hardworking and personable, I will have to come back soon!
