Dissapointing experience after what I was expecting reading reviews off of Google.I was looking for a quick meal in the downtown area with some coworkers, and this popped up as an option in a virtual coupon book. The guy behind the counter was very rude to me on multiple subjects. I asked for a gyro without the sauce, but he essentially argued with me about this choice. When we moved to checkout, I brought out the coupon, to which he said that they did not accept because it was created by a previous owner (understandable, but still frustrating). It took around 45 minutes to get our food, and people who came in way after us got food first! When we got the food, the sauce, that we had specifically talked about, was still on my gyro sandwich.Everything else was fine, but overall, the service problems would not warrant me to return.
The hours say that they close at 3:30. If that's the case, why did I come by there today at 3 and they were closed? I did not see a sign that stated a reason why they closed early
Owner's were very friendly, food was good. Wish they used "fresh" pita bread though. Otherwise 5 star.
We had some business at the Wake County Courthouse, so we walked over for lunch afterwards. This restaurant is right out on Fayetteville Street next to the Sheraton Hotel. There is no indoor seating, so you have to sit outside, either right in front of the restaurant (and right by the busy street) or on the side facing towards the Sheraton. We ordered the veggie platter, which included hummus, falafel, baba ghanouj, and pasta. We also ordered a bunch of side dishes, such as lentil rice and falafel. The veggie platter came with pita bread. The food was good. The service was OK, nothing exceptional. One thing we noticed is that the veggie platter costs about twice the price of the order which was a bunch of side dishes (the lentil rice and falafel, which comes with a little bit of salad). However, if you compare the two dishes (see the attached photos), they are roughly the same size. I guess you have to know how to order at this restaurant?
I always get the Mediterranean platter with chicken kabobs, Greek salad and humus with pita. Everytime it is amazing!! Highly recommended
Great Mediterranean takeout spot in downtown. Pretty quick to get in and out. Never had a bad meal here. The men that own it are friendly and aim to please,
Ordered kafta kabob and a Greek salad. Guy said “You ordered two things. That doesn’t make any sense.” So I left. ??♂️
Excellent Services and food. I recommend it 100%. Thanks.
I ordered this meal today and had someone pick it up for me on my lunch because I was unable to so of course checking before leaving wasn't an option. After I received my food I saw there was no hummus which was stated when I made the order so I went by and asked about the hummus I did not receive even willing to pay just incase the order was misunderstood on the phone. After being fussed at by the owner/ person making the food that they would not and had not forgot the hummus it just wasn't ordered(which it was) he proceeds to give me the hummus and act as it was a favor. I said "THANK YOU" and in disbelief of how I was treated by being yelled at in front of other customer he stops me at the door and said I was ungrateful of his favor because I shook my head again still in disbelief because at this point more people are coming in the store. I have never been treated this way by any restaurant. There is definitely a way to speak to customers. If he felt I had not ordered correctly the 1st time that is all he had to say I would have acknowledged fault and reorder hummus and pay but to fuss at a customer about how it could not have been a fault of theirs is very unprofessional.
Not a real Mediterranean flavor.food tastes average
