I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. The service is AMAZING! It’s like they treat you like family, the staff is so kind. I ordered a veggie burger and the person taking my order was vegetarian,so they confirmed that it was 100% veggie. They even had it themselves as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a good burger, drink, and side combo, or just the burger by itself.
The food was good to me but the my family didnt seem to like their meals. The service wasn't all that great and the price was a little off for what you get.
This is my second visit to the one on Millbrook. I went through the drive thru and ordered a Spicy Chicken sandwich and large seasoned fries plus lemonade. It came to $9. Although it was a simple order, it took a few tries to get the person taking my order to understand what I wanted. It took a long time to receive my order and a car behind me was waiting. I looked in the bag, saw the sandwich and container of fries. Got to work and… it was a cheeseburger not a spicy chicken sandwich. News flash I cannot eat beef/anything bovine. I paid $9 for fries??? the first visit wasn’t much better. I tried to give them a second chance but now, I don’t plan to go back there again.
I pass by this place all the time on my way home from work and have been curious to check it out. I swung by for the first time today and went through the drive thru. I got two double burger combos which came out to about $15. All things considered, I don't think that's too bad of a price! Burger and fries were both fresh and delicious! Service was a *little* slow but since the food was so fresh I didn't mind! My surprised partner's reaction was this, "whose divine burger has blessed my lips and tongue, I need to know". Needless to say we'll definitely be back.
I have no idea why people are comparing this to steak and shake. I understand the location was where it used to be but this restaurant is nothing like them. They are a more down to earth burger place located in an area that doesn't appreciate it. Reminds me of a snoopys and cookout put together. We went during dinner since Chick-fil-A was packed. It feels locally owned so we liked that. I got the double cheese burger all the way with fries and my wife the bacon cheeseburger with Cajun fries which she really liked. Our food was excellent and fries crispy. It sounds like during rush hour service may drop but we had no complaints. No cars in line so quick to get our food. Oh and about the price i understand its a bit more than other fast food places i even brought to the attention of my wife but we understand the costs of where they are located so it is reasonable. We were not disappointed with our food so we got our moneys worth. To the owner keep it going hope it grows more cancel out the noise and keep providing that delicious food.
Sausage egg and cheese Biscuit, tots, and drink under $9Good deal, I've had dinner here before pretty good also nice waitress.. Would give it a 5* but the biscuit was microwaved or was reheated by the microwave
I thought the food was pretty good. My family was not impressed. The burger looked small, but once I started eating it I changed my mind. The bacon on the burger was thin. I would say its sub par bacon. I would eat here again. Server was nice.
My wife and I tried it for the first time since they switched to an independent restaurant. I think the switch was a great move. I had the Bacon Lovers Burger and my wife the Texas Burger. They were absolutely delicious! The fries and tater tots were well cooked. The staff and owner are very nice. I have to come back for the Royal Burger. It has a fried egg on it! I do recommend giving them a try.
And those fries left aren't long for this world. I'm not sure about these random 1 stars here, and what's their poster issues are, but they've clearly never worked in food.This place is FANTASTIC.Service was wonderful, despite one person working the busy floor. Food came out quick and HOT. Reviews weren't lying about the food being hot, hot, hot, and FRESH.My family totaling 5 were able to eat incredibly affordable and my 3 kids gobbled up their food with zero complaints.I ordered the sweet tea, and although I didn't care for their style of tea my server didn't charge me for switching to a Coke.If you're in the Raleigh area, forget the other burger places or fast food.EAT HERE or miss out. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Have been craving a good burger for awhile now. Stopped by there for the first time, went through the drive thru. Great service at the drive through. Got home and demolished the food!!!! Burgers and fries where fresh. My daughter had the chicken tenders but I’m assuming they where good too because she ate them so fast!! Will def get more business from me!!!
