A hidden Diamond quietly nestled in the woodland behind the mall. San Marcos Mexican Restaurant sits with a menu bursting with romantic favors and spices that dance on the tip of your tongue. How do I say it, my wife and I enjoyed the meals put together ❤️ for our family get together. It was too, in celebration of one of our Sons returning from Costa Rica, and our return from Hawaii, California, Washington State, and Texas. ❤️ You have got to put it on your Must Visit List. Not your Bucket List, that too far down the list. They even have a baloney that's surrounded with big leaf plants. Their meal was so good, I made a second visit Saturday night to get a couple meals to. If you do stop by, say hello to the young lady tending the bar. She's super friendly and welcoming to anyone. Fair food. Overpriced. Good service, great atmosphere.
This is the second San Marcos that I've been too. Once again, the food did not disappoint. The service was commendable and the dining areas and bathrooms were exceptionally clean.
Fun little spot to grab margaritas and a bit to eat. We ordered their half pitcher and it was perfect.
Ordered the molcajete. While it was fairly inexpensive and a lot of food, the quality was not on par with the quantity. Everything in the bowl was saturated with a VERY strong vinegar flavor. This soaked into the meat, and the meat didn't have the texture of meat. It was more like rubber. The staff was very nice and the beer cold, but the food (at least what I ordered) was not good.
The food was absolutely delicious! We definitely are going back there. The decor is lovely, especially the tiles on the floors. I wish I would have taken pictures that evening. If you like burritos, get their beef and chicken burritos. That was my pick and it was great!
A very nice place with a calm and comfortable atmosphere. The food is good and well prepared. I usually stick to steak quesadillas and do take out. So I can't speak to the rest of the food, but what I have eaten has always been good. The employees seem to be happy and good at customer service. I think the owners do a good job managing the restaurant, and I know they have a few other places in the area.
Found this restaurant by chance and have gone several times since. Staff very friendly and polite. Excellent choices for drinks and made well. Food tastes great and nice quality selections and portions. Atmosphere is really wonderful, not just fun and colorful, but makes you feel like you're in a high end Mexican spot. Have brought several friends there and everyone has come back again!
Went for a quick drink and food before Eagles concert. Really glad we did! Staff was so friendly and nice, and loved the decor.Food was good and very reasonabably priced. Had GREAT top shelf margaritas with our fast hot food. Next time in Raleigh, will go back and enjoy again!
Extensive menu with amazing drinks. Our server Sergio was delightful and very professional. I would definitely recommend!!
