Best Baked Beans that I have ever had! I usually don’t eat baked beans have never really liked them. Sam Jones’s are awesome!?? #YUM

We got a combo of meat with roasted chicken, roasted turkey and BBQ pork for around $23. I like the chicken breast bc it's very soft and tender. Turkey is pretty good too. Pork tastes sour and overpowering beer flavor. Not sure if this is the southern style. This place is pretty packed at lunchtime. They have indoor and outside lawn seating area. Pretty nicely decorated .

Based on the previous reviews I tried it out. Sam Jones did not disappoint. The servings were plentiful and the taste was fantastic. I got the chopped pork, bbq chicken, and paid extra for the ribs. Sides: slaw and mac&cheese. And I had to try the banana pudding.Oh My Goodness. It was all delicious. Tender moist. The ribs were not fall off the bone but they were delicious and definitely not dried out.As you may or may not know….their cornbread is kind of a house specialty. It’s thin and very dense. I didn’t care for it but my lunch companion. So it just comes down to a taste preference.I would most definitely return!!

4 adults had lunch for $75. I don't understand the hype and I don't think that I've ever consumed such expensive bbq and felt so "meh" about the experience. The bbq was quite dry and required use of the sauces on the table, which still did not make for a great product. Flavor was forgettable. The cornbread was actually cornpone, which is fine if you know that up front, but it's a denser bread with a different flavor profile. The fries were the best part of my meal, but that's kind of a bummer for a place that's supposed to serve exceptional bbq. The service was good, and the staff were helpful. Having both indoor and outdoor seating options is nice, as is having craft beer and a bar.Bottom line: I would eat here again if I was with someone who really wanted to, but I don't think I'd ever be the one to suggest this.

when you order wings online for $19.99 plus the tip, the staff should alert the customer that they will only receive "drumsticks" and no "flats". First time there and I don't think I would go there again. I picked up the food at 8:15, by the time I got home and noticed, they were closed. I've heard that the food is good otherwise but for me this was disappointing.

Friendly Service, Food Came out Hot and Timely But the Catfish Nuggets need HELP!!! Absolutely Zero Flavor, Salt or Anything! The tarter sauce wasn’t any better. Just had to drown them in Texas Pete to not waste my money. Now The Mac N Cheese was surprisingly very Good! The green were good also. Really liked the sweet potato muffin. The ribs (not pictured) were great they didn’t have a heavy pork taste and weren’t over done with vinegar. The chocolate eclair was like a deconstructed donut. Light, fluffy and not too sugary.

I had the single plate and loved everything except the cornbread. I had an old fashioned style and it was dense and had a strange taste. I recommend other styles, they have several bread options. The patio was lovely on the sunny day I was there. Loved that they allow well behaved dogs outside.

Sam Jones BBQ, your barbecue is good, your sides are great, the location is perfect, the vibe is fun, and the prices are reasonable. What is going on with your bread? Really need to work on that recipe. I’ve never had flatter, denser cornbread. Maybe I’m unfamiliar with this style of cornbread. In which case, I’m sorry. But maybe warn those of us who are used to fluffy, sweet goodness. Also couldn’t find the cocktail menu before ordering and didn’t want to ask and hold up the line at the register.

The smoked wings and collard greens are good. I haven't tried the smoked turkey yet but my friends like it.No brisket, chopped pork is meh, and the potato salad is like grocery store style. No bad, not great.

Great place to eat down home bbq. Love the atmosphere and the food. But the sides are what steals the show for me. Best collard greens at a restaurant I've ever had. Sweet potato muffins are to die for. Kind of pricey but in my opinion worth the money. A must try
