I went her for father's day. It was our first time coming in. Our server was awesome. He helped recommend some items on the menu. He was very helpful explaining certain items as well. I got a few mimosas, and they were delicious. My dad and I really enjoyed the food. I got the chicken tinga tacos and they were good. I definitely will come back.
This is not my first time eating here however this is my first review. I had it a couple times in the past and it was good but today it was just okay. I had the pork belly tacos and some of the pieces were over cooked and very chewy. It was also very greasy. The mahi tacos were dry. The calamari was good. I may be a little weird for this but I do not like over sized chicken wings. The wings were really huge. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 3 based on past dinning experience.
It was our first time visiting and we’re blown away. The service was fantastic, everything came out at a reasonable time, drinks were tasty, food was amazing, and ambiance was great.I can’t believe it took me so long to finally get here but we’ll be back soon. Their menu is fun and modern without losing the taste of traditional plates. I’d do brunch, lunch or a dinner date here. The portions are impressive and the prices are very reasonable.I highly recommend you try them out!
This is not the usual, ordinary Mexican restaurant. They have so many different and unique flavors for their salsas, guacamole and margaritas, that you could eat here every night of the week and have a totally different meal. It’s probably a good thing that we don’t live closer…lol
Good food, good service! This was our second visit and it was great. We ordered a large variety along with a to go order, and it was all great! I can vouch for the brisket/rib burger, the pork belly tacos, the nachos, and the Cabo Street Chicken.
I have been there three times. I tried tacos, burrito and carne asada. All the times the food was good and staff was kind and quick. Unfortunately they don’t take reservations and it may take some time before having a table during rush hours.
Shrimp & Grits not my thing - I've posted previously about what's probably my favorite dish on the planet, the Surf & Turf Burrito, but I must share that the shrimp & grits is not my thing, and contrary to all the positive reviews, it must not be for everyone. It was cooked wonderfully, I just thought it an odd recipe, is all.So, go for the Surf & Turf Burrito, but think twice about the S&G ; )
I've previously written a glowing review of what may be my favorite dish on the planet, the Surf & Turf Burrito. Have tried a couple other dishes there and not thought much of 'em, the latest being the Shrimp & Grits. Judging by all the positive reviews online for the dish, I have to think it might just be my own taste buds but, in any case, just gotta put out there that, it's definitely not for everyone. I admit that the dish has many, many different recipes and virtually no two are alike, and while I can't offer a suggestion to improve this one, will just say that, again, it wasn't for me and next time, and always, I'm just sticking with the bomb - the Surf & Turf (burrito, not to be confused with the plate dish of the same name).
I will lead with the food was good. We were a party of 5 and tried a variety of dishes. Shrimp and grits, Korean pork belly tacos, shrimp tacos, fire grilled chicken wings,Cabo rolls, queso, braised short rib tacos, carne asada tacos and Santa Fe corn. Everything was really good but the corn had too much sauce which destroyed the flavor of the corn. We also had the churros-arrived undercooked and doughy and tres leches cake. I would recommend for the food but not the service. The hostess was very dismissive, however I noticed she was very friendly and welcoming with “certain guest”. Our waitress was the most inattentive waitress I have had the displeasure of having. It was work to get her attention and she was not proactive about anything. Not even the carafe of water. Every table but ours had one. I understand slow service due to lack of staffing etc but this is not what this was. She just didn’t care. Or didn’t care to have people of color because she definitely gave better service to other tables. Perhaps she fell for the stereotype that black people don’t tip ? She’s wrong …. I tip 22-25% depending on the service. In this instance she received 10% which was actually overtipping for the service provided. So self -fulfilling. We were good customers but did not feel valued or appreciated. Although I enjoyed the food I would definitely ask for a different waitress if I had the misfortune of having her as a waitress. So my rating without the poor service would be 5. if you consider the service which is definitely part of the dining experience I would give a 1.
Had heard good things about this place so we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is good, but thats about it. The wait staff is rude and when I asked for chips and salsa she snapped at me and demanded she take our order for entrées first. So we ordered our food and drinks, chips and salsa came out mid way through our meal. Margaritas finally came after we finished eating. Without a doubt the worst tasting margaritas we've ever had, ever. Literally almost every taco truck I've ever eaten at has been better. Overpriced. Absolutely nothing authentic about salt and lime, tex mex at best. We left hungry and disappointed, wont be back.
