A birthday celebration. Love the quiet, cozy experience.
My 19 yo son agreed to go , is generally hesitant about " fine dining". Neither the maitre'd and or our server were stuffy or uptight, while also maintaining the fine dining demeanor that is expected of them. We both chose a dish that I cannot prepare easily. I had the duck. My son had the lamb. While both were excellent, the lamb was a level up from the duck. The flavors of the lamb dish were more complimentary thank the duck. We both concluded that he "won" in the entree category. Next was desserts, he chose the crème brí»lée over his usually selection of whatever is chocolate because he's always a bit disappointed at he effort. Boy, was he wrong this time. I ordered it instead, We both concluded that was the best dessert we had ever had. I was surprised and thankful that Saint Jacques came thru for me. So many restaurants lose their greatness over time. Saint Jacques is as phenomenal as it ever was.
It was great overall. We had very typical French dishes and they were all executed very accurately to the French style no more or less ⦠excellent execution

Great experience every time we dine here. The food is amazing, great wine selections and the dessertâ¦â¦ one of my favorite to dine in the triangle.
This was our 3rd time at Saint Jacques. Itâs one of our favorite upscale restaurants. The service is always wonderful. They make you feel special. The food is delicious and well presented. There is a great wine selection and the desserts are amazing. We have loved every experience weâve had there. It makes a spectacular anniversary date location!
