When my family and I pulled into the plaza where this restaurant was we almost left and didn’t give this place a chance. That would have been a mistake!! But it was also late and close to an hour from the restaurant closing. To my surprise the one server was super friendly and attentive. I ordered combination rice , my hubby ordered also a rice dish and my 10 year old a some sort of “sea food pho”, His was the best. The broth was super tasty and the toppings were fresh vegetables and had a proper crunch. My 6 year old had a sandwich with sausage and other meats and that was tasty too, A bit too crunchy but tasty! The place is clean and well kept (which does not match the plaza at all.) I had a Vietnamese tea which was good but the boba in it not so much, it was soggy and had a weird after taste.I recommend this restaurant!
Definitely want to come visit for the hospitality. If you're new to vietnamese cuisine ask questions and the workers will gladly answer. Then you'll be met with extremely delicious food without worry!
We've been happy with Saigon Pho in the past, but last night's Banh Mi was served on a stale sandwich roll rather than fresh French baguette. This was very disappointing and significantly let down the sandwich. Short-term supply issue or new direction?
Amazing. The roasted duck fried rice is my new favorite dish.
Really good pho, extremely fresh. Nice people, quick service.
OVER PRICED. I ordered for dinner takeout. It was NOT authentic Vietnamese, which this restaurant proclaims it serves. My food was like bad Chinese. Ordered A2 appetizer for $6.75--two fried spring rolls. Ingredients were indescribable and duck sauce didn't taste or look homemade. Also ordered D1 Special Combination fried rice with sausage, shrimp, pork, chicken for $17.95. Tons of rice, 4 shrimp and meats overcooked miniscule pieces. This should have been placed under the "Rice Dishes" section. Won't be ordering again.
I had the pork skin rolls for appetizer and pho with rare beef. The flavor was pretty bland and nothing special. The prices are relatively higher than a few other vnese restaurants in the ccity. The restaurant was clean but was smoky (someone was smoking in the kitchen perhaps).
Always looking for good pho, fried egg rolls, and spring rolls. We come to Raleigh 5-6 times per year for our daughter’s tennis tournaments. We’ve been to Pho Saigon several of those times, and the service here is excellent as was the pho and spring rolls.
Didn’t get a chance to eat because after the owner seated us, no one bothered to come and even take a drink order. We walked in at the same time as another gentleman but we were seated first. He had his whole order taken and was given his drink and we still hadn’t even been approached…and the owner who sat us was walking around so it’s not like she didn’t see us still there with menus looking around. And it wasn’t busy. If we’re busy I’d understand but there were only 5 other tables spread out in the entire restaurant.
If I could leave no star, I would have! The girl server couldn't even take my order correctly. When she brought out my food, I told her I didn't order the duck plate and even asked me If I was sure and I told her I'm sure. I told her that I got the Bún bò Huế so she brought the food to the back and told them that I DIDNT WANT IT ANYMORE. First of all, I didn't even order the duck dish so of course I'm not going to eat it. The male server brought out our pho and I told him we had one more dish (thinking im still getting my Bún bò Huế) and told him one Bún bò Huế and when they brought the food out it was a whole different plate. So an older lady from the back came out with a menu and point at the dish that the male server brought out and I told her thats not it and i pointed at D5-Bún bò Huế. Mind you, my family was already almost done with their food so not even 1 minute after telling that older lady that I wanted D5, I told the girl server that this was taking too long and for them to cancel my order bc my family was already almost done their food. She then said okay but she didn't even go back to tell them that I canceled my order. I watched her!!! She didn't feel the need to communicate that to the others in the back. And when they brought out my food I told them that I had already told the girl server to cancel it. And the older lady had the audacity to say OH MY GOSH! UM EXCUSE ME, THIS WAS ALL YOUR GIRL SERVER'S fault. So we paid and left. Never eating there ever again!!!!
