The most amazing sliders were catered to my sons birthday. Everyone from the adults to the kids were extremely happy with the food.

The food is amazing, the service is great, and a very clean place! Highly recommend it. It's a 10/10!! Don't miss out!

Smallish but quaint place to take your spouse, meet friends etc. Several screens for the big games, but mostly great food with good size portions.

Tried it out on a Tuesday night and really enjoyed it. Warm decor, relaxing and upbeat atmosphere. The menu includes sandwiches, burgers, snack food, salads, and entrees like Cajun steak. The waitress told us that our fish and chips plates would have a lot of food, and she was not lying! The slaw had a different flavor than I expected..it was good and unexpected. A great place for a weekday date or to have drinks and conversation with a group of friends.Feb 2022 update - this is now my daughter's favorite lunch spot! The burgers are perfect.

Went for lunch, the fried pickles are crispy and salty (in the right way.) The kids grilled cheese is huge, on thick, fresh, toasted bread. We definitely took half of it home. The wings are tasty, the mild is a good mild with only a little kick and I had the French dip sandwich, which was on point: Good flavor, good warm dip, bread was nice and soft. Next time I need to go try the burger, they also looked large and tasty. I want to give them five stars, but I want to see a bit of a bigger beer selection... We'll be back!

Great atmosphere, smaller location to get a pint and a bite to eat. Had the turkey club, very large sandwich. Pi t was ice cold and poured properly. Will definitely be back for a second trip. Staff was kind and helpful

We were their today on Christmas Eve and we were greeted by the Wiatress from Hell named Lou. Clearly she had some major issues going on that work interferes with. Many people are not happy working on Christmas Eve but they are civil. This woman was openly antagonizing from the moment we sat down outside. All she had to do was let us know that the restaurant was not serving outside but she chose to antagonize us and intentionally try to run us off.Had my wife not insisted that we order take out meals and wine, we would have left and taken our business else where. If she is working there in the future I will not spend one penny in River Pub again.Kelly Griffin

The vegetarian sandwich was actually pretty good along with the housemade chips.

More of a 3.5 star restaurant. Typical bar food. The buffalo chicken was overcooked which made it tough. Nothing really spectacular about the place, but if you want somewhere quick to grab lunch it is an ok choice.

We are new to Raleigh but have been here several times. Food is reliably good. It’s a relaxed pub and grill with a regular, generally older, local crowd, a nice place to go for inexpensive drafts and when you don’t feel like dressing up. I had the special last night — spicy Nashville-style chicken and it was very tasty. I hope it will be added to the regular menu. It was more than I needed and I took half of it home. I ordered the side dish of Mediterranean veggies (almost alway tasteless elsewhere) and it was very respectable! Someone bothered to season them. Thank you.
