Wait staff was Awesome even on a busy Memorial day, thank you for that. All of the food was good except for to he rack of ribs. I have had the rack of ribs several times before and they were the Best! But these 3 whole racks we purchased were far from that top quality we expected. Not sure if they were Old, stale or left out too long or ???? But Lloyd's from Food Lion would of blew these away. IAM sorry because I loved this place.
Stopped in to check it out. The service was ok, little short handed, food was good and tasty, meats were not dried out, side were good, and the drinks were cold. Portion size vs price was on the weak end, and from reading several other reviews, I have to agree, you will not be over stuffed. I had the TN triple, pulled pork( good flavor and moist), turkey(again good flavor, but only 2 small pieces), and smoked sausage (good flavor, basically one link cut in half), the side were good. I understand this is very tough times for restaurants, especially trying to source menu items, however, it seems like this place has started to deviate from its norm, and probably could use a look over that they're business model and see where it could improve. My sister & husband eat here, and so we wanted to try it. Like I said food taste is good, something needs a little tweaking.Hope y'all figure it out, and pack this every night.
We have always had a good experience here until this last one. The food was slow to come out, the service was really bad, but not just for us, but everyone near us. BBQ is made ahead of time, so being slow really isn't acceptable. To their credit, the burger they left off at first and came out completely overdone was comped so at least they made an effort. Shame to see a once nice place go down hill so fast.
The food was horrible. There was little to no seasoning/flavor on any of the sides. The burger taste like it was burnt on the outside and dry on the inside even though it was ordered as medium well.

My first time eating here and I really enjoyed the food. I had the whole smoker meal. Great variety and delicious!
Haven’t been here in a few years. Was in the area so it sounded good. The crispy burnt ends were more fat than meat. Soggy, greasy not crispy. Slaw was dry. Potato salad -not what it used to be. Kinda dry, no red onion or cilantro. The cup of stew was mostly just chunks of tomato and onion. Shame, it was one of my favorites. Probably not coming back.
Was one of my favorite restaurants for barbecue especially the "pig squealin combo and another couple often joined us and we all ordered the same. Much to my disappointment visiting 3/11/2022 was told that is was no longer offered. We ordered the BBQ sandwich which was $9.95 and there could not have been more than 1-2 ounces of BBQ on the sandwich. Good luck with your new menu and prices.
The best that can be said for our meals, this evening, is disappointing. We ordered the Catfish Dinner and the Dinner of ribs and catfish. The ribs were great, no question but nothing else worked. The catfish was “hard” to cut…felt like sawing a piece of steak. Something about the breading was off. The meals come with hush puppies…none were anywhere to be found. The ribs/catfish combo was advertised with fries…not to be found anywhere. The meal was delivered late to curbside even though it was ordered ~an hour before scheduled pickup. Have always had pretty good experiences with this chain but these expensive meals ($20+ each) came nowhere near the high standard we’ve come to expect from RH&B. What happened? Who is responsible for this disaster and our ruined dinners?!
A friend and I went for a late lunch here yesterday. I had been before but not for years as I moved farther away and it was my friends first time! It was truly outstanding. Anthony greeted us when we walked in and showed us to our table. I have to say, Anthony is a huge part of why we enjoyed our lunch. Of course, the food was amazing but I was expecting that. What a gem he is for this establishment. Personable, funny,, attentive and made perfect suggestions as add ons for our meal. We will definitely be dining here for often to enjoy great food and service!
