Food is great! I’m from up north where I can get authentic Spanish food all the time, in the south it’s hard to come by but this place surely didn’t disappoint. The white rice and black beans were perfect! Tostones fried perfectly especially with the dipping sauce. The beef empanadas was everything! I ordered one to go. Lastly, I ordered the chicken chimichurri sandwich which was also tasty! Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!!
I got the turkey bacon club, my wife got 1/2 pressed chicken sandwich and a pear/walnut/cranberry salad. My sandwich was huge thick chunks of turkey in some kind of southwestern spice, with crunchy thick bacon, and some lettuce and tomato, served on a couple slices of bread that really held together well. I couldn't believe how big that sandwich was! The meat was tender and juicy, great flavors. The chicken sandwich was good, but the salad was awesome, lots of pear slices, walnut halves, and dried cranberries, with blue cheese crumbles on top. A bit pricier than we were expecting to spend on lunch, but worth it!
It was a random weekday afternoon and we happened to be un the area when we noticed Pressed off the road. After a quick search we realized this would be a unique lunch experience so we ventured in. There is limited parking immediately out front but additional spots are off to the side. The restaurant server Puerto Rican fare and is very vibrant with turquoise blue walls as you enter. We glanced at the menu and asked about the special + soup of the day, which was chicken corn tortilla soup. The soup peaked my interest so of course we ordered that along with a Chimi Chicken Panini and the Pressed Caprese. Everything was made to order so we took a seat for about 10 mins before the food was ready. Luckily we weren't in a hurry. The food came out nice and hot, and was delicious all around. The soup was absolutely amazing, amd the paninis were packed with flavor. It was nice to experience something a bit different from the usual sandwich shops. If you get the chance, definitely go get your PRESS ON!
I can't say enough good things about Pressed by Spanglish. As a Puerto Rican woman myself, this food brings back incredible memories and my grandmother's cooking. Every time I come, I am blown away by the menu and the authenticity. Every item I have had has been stellar. I suggest trying each of the empanadas and going for a bowl. You won't regret it.
Freaking delicious! I'm from Florida and was missing this style of food. So ecstatic that I was introduced to this place. I chose the pick 2, so I could try both the Cuban sandwich and Fountain of youth salad. Both were incredible tasting and well done. Definitely not leaving here hungry!
Every visit to Pressed, I find something new that I really enjoy. On this visit, it was a cold winter day and all I wanted was a warm bowl of soup. The blank bean soup was delicious! I paired it with an order of the Queso Frito (fried cheese) and it was just what I was looking for. The soup is hearty, packs an amazing flavor, and has plenty to fill your belly.

First time visiting! We ordered the tripleta, tostones, and chicken and beef empandas.- the chicken empanada was good- Beef empanada was good, but pretty greasy bc of the beef and it's deep-fried.- Tripleta sandwich was very very meaty! Overall it was pretty tasty if you like A LOT of meat- Tostones were thick and hearty. It comes with a dipping sauce, but it still may lack flavor for some people. I would HIGHLY recommend if you get the tostones, you ask for their seasoning salt to put on top, and Oh my, SO GOOD!I'm glad I tried this place and might return, and Overall, I definitely think everyone should try something from here at least once !!
I first started eating here about two years ago. My go-to has always been the turkey club sandwich - delicious. Their food has since declined and is no longer worth the price. I stopped by 1/26/22 and ordered the same sandwich to-go. Once I got home, the turkey was dry and minimal in portion size compared to before. Hardly any avocado and the bread was tough to chew. The sandwich was not good at all. In addition to the decline in quality, my food was simply sitting on the counter - no staff alerted me my order was up. I thought it was taking an abnormal length of time to make a sandwich, so I had wave down a staffer to ask, "Is this my order?" Needless to say, it was. Who knows how long it was sitting there. I will not be back and do not recommend.
Food was ok. I had the mofongo El Coqui and themeat had good flavor but it was cold and the prices are a little to high. Also customer service could be better. About 2 employees walked by me without saying a word. Took 5 minutes for someone to aknowledge I was there. Everyone that works in there looked like they did not want to work.
