We stumbled upon this going to another restaurant! I can't believe it's been there 18 years. Only 20 minutes from our house. They heard it was our 1st time there and brought out a complimentary appetizer. Lori our waitress was great. Both Hostesses were great, chef and bartender were great. I could see they were short staffed, like everyone else, but they were working it! They really were a good team!

This place is extremely overpriced. The staff was nice, but that was the only good thing about the experience. I got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes taste like instant potatoes with a bunch of added butter. The meatloaf was massive! And was not warm all the way through. The salad they gave with the meal was okay. Nothing to write home about. Overall, my meal was not worth $22. And that was just my food. My boyfriend ordered the pimento cheese for $14! It was nowhere near worth that price. I've gotten better pimento cheese at Food Lion. Again, the staff was very friendly! But the food is just not worth it.

Excellent burger! Friendly staff. We enjoyed our visit very much.

Sandwiches were good. Food was out quick even though it was crowded. You place your order at the counter and serve yourself from there so at least for lunch you don't have a waiter tending to your table. Have not been there for dinner. Nice place.

I had no idea this little gem ? was in Raleigh.. pick up take out on the way home. The blackened fish tacos we delicious! I bought a chicken BLT salad for lunch tomorrow and can’t wait to return and sit down in this little piece of heavn. Soft Ambience is a huge win over for me. Can’t wait to make the trip from Wake Forest to enjoy.

I’ve always liked Poppyseed Market BUT…today I ordered a salad to go. It was $10 for the salad and $11 to add grilled shrimp. I got 3 shrimp for my $11 add on—$3.67 per shrimp. The “large” salad was not at all large. This photo shows my $21 salad. So don’t order to pick up…and if you add shrimp to your salad when you eat in the dining room, ask them how many you’ll get. Guess I’ll go to bed hungry tonight.

We went here for my brother’s birthday based solely on the excellent reviews, and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent. The food was fresh and tasty. Even the kids max and cheese gave us homemade thanksgiving vibes.Well done!

I've always loved Poppyseed market. I recently went to a "safe" event with individual apps. The mushrooms were amazing. I was hosting a baby shower and ordered from Poppyseed. Well, I canceled the event due to weather and I forgot to cancel my order! Well, my family sure lucked out. The ham and gruyere bites were amazing, as were the mushrooms and spanakopita, and the mini choc chess pies. Everything they offer can be frozen, so it's fine if you over-order, or if you just want some deliciousness on hand.I enjoy cooking and entertaining, but in recent years, I've found one amazing shortcut - my delicious "homemade" mashed potatoes are eerily similar to those at Poppyseed. And strangely enough, my potato peeler and masher don't need washing after making mashed potatoes for a crowd.Thank you Poppyseed Market for having consistently delicious food, great service, and awesome catering, including packaging that is user friendly and planet friendly.

First time we've ordered from this location. Everything was delicious! The staff was friendly and very welcoming. I had the gourmet turkey club. Yummy! It was easily enough for 2ppl. My sis had the philly cheesesteak and it could fill-up 2ppl too! We're definitely going to be back.

The only reason I give Poppyseed 5 stars is because I'm not allowed to give them ten. Just Got their Christmas dinner package for the second year in a row. The most delicious meal I've ever eaten. Everything was absolutely perfect. Prime Rib, Roasted Brussels, chess pie...everything was perfect. Highly recommend them
