The pizzas are hand crafted with a limited selection. I wouldn't really consider the menu kid friendly in terms of cost/choices. The food itself was delicious. The service was average. I found that we struggled getting the attention of staff because they were talking amongst themselves at the register. The location is walking distance from Red Hat, so maybe a good spot to grab a bite before a concert.

Came here on a Saturday night for dinner. Very cool ambience, you really feel like you are at the pool and about to eat delicious pizza. The pizza itself was good but very thin slices. If that’s your jam then you’ll like it. I prefer thicker crusts.Good selection of drinks and a decent appetizer selection. The great service would make me come back, very nice and attentive staff.

Appetizers were the ? ? Great laid back atmosphere

There's a certain 'vintage aesthetic' that, regardless of how visually cute it is, isn't welcoming and this place has those vibes. IYKYK But, if you can get past that the food is wonderful. The Rigatoni Bolognese didn't have the acidity I've noticed in many of the meat sauces of Triangle restaurants, however, the portion was much smaller than I expected for $19. If, like me, you've never had Panna Cotta ( jiggle warning ) it's like a cross between jello and yogurt. The hazelnut was a great complement and added the right amount of crunch/texture. I didn't touch the strawberry slices. The Margherita was $16 and was pretty much what you would expect. The Sausage alla Vodka was $18.

We were there this past Monday and both of our pizzas were burned badly. All we could taste was black char. What chef sends burned pizza to the table and the waitress didn’t seem to understand nor did she apologize It was basically 40+ dollars wasted and I would never bother going back when other places would never think to serve pizza with a black crust. No thanks!

We’ve lived in Raleigh since this place opened and randomly decided to try it tonight… and I’m not sure what we were waiting for. Our server, Maddie, was beyond helpful with the menu and offering suggestions. The drinks, appetizers, pizza, and dessert were all phenomenal. They had lots on the menu we wanted to try and didn’t get a chance to and we’ll certainly be back.

This place is a top notch experience from the moment you walk in the door. Server was extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. Drinks were fantastic. Start with the small bites and apps - deviled prosciutto with fresh focaccia, olives + feta with herbs, melt in your mouth pork meatballs - you won't regret it. The pickled Caesar salad and fennel sausage/vodka sauce pizza was the perfect combo to share. Topped it off with key lime pie (that crust!!) and local Howling Cow soft serve drizzled with olive oil and sea salt. So proud to show my out of town guests this gem in the Raleigh food scene!

Very well made flavorful pizza but extremely pretentious menu/atmosphere and enormously overpriced food and drinks. Pizza comes in one small 12” size and the menu doesn’t specify that the most beer/cider on tap are served in 8oz glasses for $6-8 a piece. There’s no good reason to slash drink sizes while still charging Pint prices other than audacious cost cutting. Our server was a bit long-winded when rattling off everything on the menu for 3 minutes straight. I would suggest lying when they ask you if you’ve been there before. This might be the curriculum around there but it’s probably better kept brief.Otherwise it’s a pretty neat retro ice cream parlor shaped pizza restaurant with a simple and unique menu, friendly staff, and a convenient massive free parking lot across the street where you would otherwise be stuck parking several blocks away.I likely won’t be back but I don’t suggest putting off giving it a try. It could be just what you’ve always wanted!

This is the best pizza I’ve found in the area. The price of the pizza and drinks is a bit up there for this to be a place I frequent, but for the occasional stop in when I don’t mind dropping the money it’s a hard place to beat.

Just the perfect dinner that we needed to celebrate.. We had focaccia with lemon ricotta cheese, and the four cheese and mushroom pizza..It was so good..
