Unassuming spot in the industrial cut. The baristas were amicable, accommodating & informative...Coffee bags (& merch) are attractive with useful instructions for a maximal brewing experience. No jitters after trying the Honduran (light) and Guatemalan , so I came back the next day and found my groove w/the Brazilian.

Tried some of their cold brew at and event recently and it was soooo good. Highly recommend. Definitely will stop by again when in the area!

Some of the best coffee Raleigh has to offer and with the attached running shop, what more could you ask for?

Nice place. Friendly employees. Coffee is great and a great outdoor area.

Lemme tell you what brother, Pine State is the best gawd dang coffee on the planet. What would I recommend? Well , I’d recommend you walk into Pine State and order yourself some freaking coffee. Needless to say the Ethiopia guji natural process has me jacked up right now pushing me through a slow work day. Go get some coffee and say what’s up to Larz! Can’t get into the shop? Well they have a website and fast shipping! Get on it!

Ok, so confession I'm not a huge coffee or latte girl and I cannot drink black tea on an empty stomach without feeling nauseated. I love how friendly these ladies and gentlemen are as I commonly go in and try to read the entire menu before still looking clueless and asking what they would recommend. The service has always been on point. The help with ordering is awesome once I got a normal coffee with perfect and amount of cream and sugar, the second time I ordered a really fancy tea, which prominently had blackberry but also has elderberry and without any sugar was pretty tart but tasted good. I honestly love the vibe in here.

not too pricey but my espresso shots are burnt

Best coffee shop in Rawley 2021 rigged competition; never forget!

I fortunately stumbled on this place while I was up in North Raleigh looking at something completely unrelated and stopped in just to grab a cup of coffee. Now I go out of my way to buy their coffee it is so wonderful. And how great to also be located in the same building as a bike and running shop. It's like somebody read my mind.

I’m hesitant to even share this review because I feel like Pine St is a hidden gem, but it’s by far the best coffee in Raleigh - not to mention a ridiculously nice staff! Plus tons of gluten-free baked goods!
